CPDLC integration for Vatsim

Totoritko (Sasa Skiselkov) is currently working on implementing CPDLC with the Challenger he is working on. How difficult would it be to integrate it into the FMS of the IXEG 733?

I know this doesn´t have top priority, but have you ever thought about it?

Btw: the IXEG 733 is working like a charm with the new 11.50 rc3 and the latest Gizmo 20 update. 50FPS on my 1060GTX, no stutters anymore.

This would not be a very straight forward implementation (if even possible), primarily because the source for the FMS is coded in Gizmo/LUA.

Are you intending to use it in inter-European ops? I'm a real life controller and I can say that I have only seen a few Classics that had the J1 (VDN based) CPDLC in equipment and actually working. They were the old Air Baltic birds. I don't know how much the Classics use it in the US within the FANS system...
