XXFlight Posted August 19, 2020 Report Posted August 19, 2020 Hi, I was flying LEMD-LEPA descending to the GODOX waypoint, when the AP suddenly disengaged and I was unable to re-engage. Master caution read "Flight Ctrl" and what was even weirder was that I couldn't operate the flaps nor the landing gear on my approach. Hydraulics in general seemed to fail. I tried this flight twice with the exact same results. Will appreciate your feedback. Thanks, XXFlight Quote
Litjan Posted August 19, 2020 Report Posted August 19, 2020 Hi XXFlight, yes, this sounds like a hydraulic failure. This is something that can only happen if you "trigger" it with the "failures" menu, though. We are not using default X-Plane failures for the hydraulic system. Did you check the hydraulics quantity and pressure indications? When it happens the next time, make sure to take a screenshot of the instrument panel and also the overhead panel so we can see how the systems are set up. I am fairly confident that this is some type of setup mistake - especially since you had this problem twice in a row. Cheers, Jan Quote
