Hi,

I was flying LEMD-LEPA descending to the GODOX waypoint, when the AP suddenly disengaged and I was unable to re-engage. Master caution read "Flight Ctrl" and what was even weirder was that I couldn't operate the flaps nor the landing gear on my approach. Hydraulics in general seemed to fail. I tried this flight twice with the exact same results.

Will appreciate your feedback.

Thanks,

Hi XXFlight,

yes, this sounds like a hydraulic failure. This is something that can only happen if you "trigger" it with the "failures" menu, though. We are not using default X-Plane failures for the hydraulic system.

Did you check the hydraulics quantity and pressure indications?

When it happens the next time, make sure to take a screenshot of the instrument panel and also the overhead panel so we can see how the systems are set up.

I am fairly confident that this is some type of setup mistake - especially since you had this problem twice in a row.

Cheers, Jan
