Manuel Correia Posted August 12, 2020 Report Posted August 12, 2020 Dear Captains. Can the TBM G1000 programer a automatic Hold Patern procedure at a fix in the route? How do it? Thank you. Manuel Correia Quote
TBMpilot Posted August 16, 2020 Report Posted August 16, 2020 If it is a coded into the sim, this is how it works on Garmin: 1) Go FPL page 2) highlight fix you which to hold at 3) Press MENU and then HOLD AT WAYPOINT 4) Enter prefered INBOUND or OUTBOUND course and LEG TIME. Ignore EFC (expect further clearance, it's just a helpful timer). 1 Quote

I have de AIRAC 2009 from Navigraph. I think so that the TBM take the data from X-Plane, insn't it? - X-Plane 11.50 b17. I appreciate your help. Manuel Edited August 17, 2020 by Manuel Correia Quote
TBMpilot Posted August 17, 2020 Report Posted August 17, 2020 Manuel, I suspect the hold function is not coded into HotStart TBM. There should be 3 hold functions: 1) as part of the missed approach or STAR 2) Hold at Waypoint 3) Hold at Present Position Perhaps submit a feature request to the HotStart? Quote
r2500 Posted August 17, 2020 Report Posted August 17, 2020 The TBM G1000 is, as I understand it, essentially just the Laminar G1000. Try the G1000 in the C172. If the hold functions are not there, the request should go to Laminar, not HotStart. Quote

I'll send a feature request to the HotStart. Thanks a lot. Manuel 51 minutes ago, r2500 said: The TBM G1000 is, as I understand it, essentially just the Laminar G1000. Try the G1000 in the C172. Manuel Correia Posted August 18, 2020 Author Report Posted August 18, 2020 Dears TBMpilot & r2500. The issue is, in fact, about Laminar, that don't have the hold function coded. I'll send a request for the Laminar - reforced for Hotstart... I know that isn't the best oportunity, but I'll tray. Thank you for your help. Regards, Manuel Quote
