Hi,

If you had a crash, you must create a new airframe, otherwise it will always start in fire.... :) I learn this the hard way..... In the first few flights....

You must be careful with the startup procedure, it is for all turbine engines, be very careful with the 3 parameters (TRQ, NG and ITT), any of them getting in the RED, the fire is almost sure to start

For the start let the NG reach 15%, fuel LOW IDLE, watch ITT (avoid hot start), let NG go to reach 51% (not hung start) then throttle to Flight Idle

Any issues, cut fuel immediately!

Never attempt to restart the engine, if the ITT is above 150C! Dry run the engine (fuel pump on, fuel lever cut, keep the starter for 15-20 seconds and watch ITT going down)

Hang in there @RobinT!  Take heed of the advice above and do spend some time with the XP tutorials on YouTube.  There is also a YouTube channel for Steveo1Kinevo - a RW TBM driver.  Many entertaining and educational streams.  Take a look.  Nothing is wrong with your aircraft or system.  Just be thankful you are learning this on XP.  Instead of real life....
