jeffreymg Posted May 25, 2020 Report Posted May 25, 2020 I just reinstalled the 737 and everything looks great and everything is working except the throttles do not move. I am in X-Plane 11 latest beta and Vulcan on. I went into xplane settings and recalibrated my Extreme 3D pro joystick and the throttles still do not work. I tried other aircraft and have no issues with the throttles. Any ideas? JeffG Quote
Litjan Posted May 25, 2020 Report Posted May 25, 2020 Often using the latest version of XPUIPC seems to be a problem - they work when using an older version. Not sure why, its on the list to investigate (also kinda hoping the UIPC guys have an idea about why) ... Cheers, Jan Quote

jeffreymg Posted May 25, 2020 Author Report Posted May 25, 2020 I still can not get the throttles to work. I uninstalled and took XPUIPC off the system and now will reinstall new copy of software and see what happens. JeffG Quote
jeffreymg Posted May 26, 2020 Author Report Posted May 26, 2020 Reinstalled IXEG 737 and made sure before installing there was nothing in the sub directories. The throttles still will not move, every other aircraft I have the throttles work. Any more clues? JeffG Log.txt Quote
Litjan Posted May 26, 2020 Report Posted May 26, 2020 This is what I see in your log: Loaded: C:\Users/jeffr/OneDrive/Desktop/X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins/XPUIPC/64/win.xpl (XPUIPC/XPWideFS.). Lets try to REALLY get rid of it and then see what happens... Jan Quote
jeffreymg Posted May 28, 2020 Author Report Posted May 28, 2020 Jan, I took out XPUIPC from resources but did not take it out of the log. I did that and now the throttles work. Thanks A lot JeffG Quote
Litjan Posted May 28, 2020 Report Posted May 28, 2020 Hi Jeff, thanks for reporting back that its fixed for you...I still hope to find out why XPUIPC (newer versions) don´t work with our throttled... Cheers, Jan Quote
Jovabra Posted May 28, 2020 Report Posted May 28, 2020 Hi all, I need XPUIPC for my CFY motorized throttle. Somewhere i have an old version and will instal it to test it. Tregards 1 Quote
Litjan Posted May 31, 2020 Report Posted May 31, 2020 I did a bit more research. It seems that we have code running that allows XPUIPC to override our throttles. There are three datarefs: ixeg/733/hardware/xpuipc_overrides ixeg/733/hardware/xpuipc_thro1 ixeg/733/hardware/xpuipc_thro2 ...that are available to do that. I assume that the older version of XPUIPC maybe sets that variable - otherwise you can use dataref editor to toggle it yourself. There are older versions of XPUIPC for download here: http://fsacars.com/downloads/xpuipc/index.html Cheers, Jan Quote
