I got the G5 after the Islander, do I need to reinstall the islander to make it show in the vc?

Nope, all you need to do is download the patch file from here: http://afms.im/G5Wiki (Just add the files inside the download for the BN-2 Islander to the Islander folder in Aircraft/X-Aviation

Thank you @Coop that solved it. Now to chase down the annoying sound issue on my machine, but that is totally my system after updating the OS to Win 10.
