signmanbob Posted April 6, 2020 Report Posted April 6, 2020 Running the latest version of the TBM900, but once I get in the air X-Plane crashes. This is the only aircraft that I am having this trouble with. Thank you, Bob Log - Copy.txt Quote
Goran_M Posted April 6, 2020 Report Posted April 6, 2020 Can you confirm you have a "state" folder? The log is telling me it's not there, and can't write to it. Quote
signmanbob Posted April 8, 2020 Author Report Posted April 8, 2020 I do not have a folder called "state". I have re-downloaded the TBM900 from X-Aviation, and re-installed it, but still do not have a "state" folder. Should I just make one? Quote
Goran_M Posted April 8, 2020 Report Posted April 8, 2020 (edited) You could try, but I doubt it will do anything. I've referred this to Saso, and he should get back to you soon. In the meantime, perhaps you could install a clean copy of X-Plane without scenery, and then install the TBM in there, and check to see if the folder shows up. No additional plugins. It may be something to do with your install of X-Plane or some kind of software preventing it from writing to the folder. Edited April 8, 2020 by Goran_M Quote
signmanbob Posted April 8, 2020 Author Report Posted April 8, 2020 Thank you Goran. I appreciate your help. Bob Quote
signmanbob Posted April 8, 2020 Author Report Posted April 8, 2020 Making a "state" folder may have worked. I was able to do a complete flight. I'll try it again tomorrow. Thank you, Bob 1 Quote
signmanbob Posted April 10, 2020 Author Report Posted April 10, 2020 I guess it is still doing it. I just had X-Plane crash and I see this in the log: 2020-04-09 22:26:44 TBM900[except.c:171]: Caught EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION Maybe you can still find out what is happening for me. Thank you, Bob Quote
Goran_M Posted April 10, 2020 Report Posted April 10, 2020 I'm going to have to get you to go hardcore. Time to remove all 3rd party plugins, except Gizmo, then test again. If it works as expected, replace plugins one at a time. I see a few plugins that may be of concern, but it's impossible to say which one might be causing the problem. The only reason I say this is because looking at your original log file, it tells me X-Plane is crashing due to something not directly related to the TBM. If it was the TBM causing the crash, it would be listed in the backtrace at the bottom of the log file. I'm afraid the only way to narrow it down is by removing or disabling your 3rd party plugins. Please post back results so we can take it further. Quote
