For me it is fair enough to look for patches and upgrades myself. I definately don't need an email telling me something new is available. This plane is in everybodies thought and many many forums have threads about it. The hallway whisper around the world can be read loud and clear (5by5). So everybody can decide between being a customer or being interested. If you're interested the message will get through to you. If you're a 'lazy' customer that could take some time. .oO(poor boy) ;D

Instead of complaining about missing customer care due to missing emails we should all give these guys the best opportunities to fix the reported issues. They are developers and they should not focus on 'marketing' issues that much. The less we complain about what we think good customer care should look like the more they can focus on technical issues.

Hey guys, you are doing a very professional job. Try to keep those kinda complaints out of your focus. These so-called 'whiners'  :D have still in mind that they get better service when complaining louder than others.

For this behaviour, the developers should have a good contract and a very good monthly salary. In fact, they don't so please let us all be a bit more patient.

Cant believe there is such abuse about customer care. The customer care here is great. The 60 dollar price said to me that no matter what the bugs and problems with initial release that in time it would all be corrected as im sure it will be. No matter what the price of the aircraft available here the support here is far greater than anypayware from vendors for FS sims. Its only been 2 days and lots have been done already. People need to stop being so impatient as X Aviation is a small group without a large support team. I have every confidence that this product will have all the kinks worked out of it in due time as it already is a great aircraft and will be better in the future. Keep up the good work  ;D

Agree with you in a 100%  !!!  By the way: entering a forum like this one (quite complete and very well organized, to say the least) keeps you up to date with all latest comments; news; bugs; suggestions; etc. etc. So, my tiny advice:  People out there, please read a little more, and complaint a little less ...  :D

Yep.

New update coming out soon with actual bug fixes anyhow. The only reason to get this patch is for the Lufthansa patch and paint kit.

If you'd still like it you may write in to X-Aviation.

So.. I just uninstalled the CRJ, and went to my account where I cannot download it again. I show 2 remaining downloads, a note that the link expired May 12, and no way to download another copy. I see my CRJ order, #4210, I click "View". I see that I originally downloaded it on 05/08/2011, and a line that says:

Take Command!: CRJ-200 Link expires: Thursday 12 May, 2011 2 downloads remaining

And a "Back" button. That's it. No links. =\

I tried this in Chrome 11 as well as Internet Explorer.

I've actually been trying to download the other planes that I bought before as well - I built a new computer and didn't back them up like an idiot - I've tried contacting via the Contact form (twice) and even direct messaging Cameron here. No luck =\

I never got, either in my main email, or in my junk, an email about any update to the CRJ, just as an aside. I was not signed up for the spamy sounding "announcements" lists, but I was signed up for the Product emails that I've bought in the past.

I'm guessing something is messed up with my XAviation account =\

As is specified in this post, no e-mail was sent. The only reason to get this patch, as stated above, is if you wish to have the Lufthansa livery or the paint kit. If neither of those interest you, then you can wait for the formal patch coming out that fixes actual bugs.

What you refer to as "spammy" is not, and is seldom. I do suggest people get signed up for that newsletter, but that's solely your choice.

PM's are not the best way to get a hold of me regarding X-Aviation stuff (get too many as it is), and if you feel the need to contact us or you feel you have not received a response within 24hrs, please do re-submit such a request! We answer all e-mails within minutes usually, but sometimes a few hours more.

Thank you for the response. I did want to get the Lufthansa livery.. though I do admit to mis-reading the posts before me. I was at GoogleIO last week, and so sort of skimmed them.

What should I do in order to download the CRJ again? It almost seems like on your end I should be able to, but on my end the link gets filtered out the HTML somehow. I'm happy to help in any way I can.

As indicated in the post above, sending in a new support request if you have not received a reply within 24 hrs will do the trick.
