BrzI Posted May 8, 2011 Report Posted May 8, 2011 If I purchase the CRJ now will it be compatible with XP10 ? If yes, will I need to buy another license ? If yes, will it be equal to the current price ?Thanks Quote
Japo32 Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 it is compatible with xp10 (I tested it)you won't need to buy another licence.if you buy it on x-plane 10 you won't be able to use it on x-plane9. if you buy it on xplane9 you will be able to use it on xp9 and 10. Quote
BrzI Posted May 9, 2011 Author Report Posted May 9, 2011 So what is the difference between an XP9 product and a strictly XP10 product ? Quote
Cameron Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 So what is the difference between an XP9 product and a strictly XP10 product ?There are some minor differences in the object files. X-Plane 9 files will work in X-Plane 10, however, X-Plane 10 files will NOT work in X-Plane 9. Quote
amilotti Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 in that case, would there be a difference in quality, performance or otherwise between a CRJ-200 created for XP9 used in XP10 versus a CRJ strictly made for XP10? Quote

The aircraft itself will not be much different really. However, X-Plane 10 will demand more resources, and as such your hardware may perform a bit slower than with X-Plane 9. This is all subjective, however, as if you have some of the latest hardware out there you shouldn't see big issues. Quote
