Delta357 Posted January 24, 2020 Report Posted January 24, 2020 (edited) When starting a flight with ACARS you must be at the gate with your parking brake set. After setting the parking brake and toe brakes I press start flight and the start button remains green and nothing happens. After waiting for a considerable period of time I determined that ACARS was not reading the TBM 900 data. I do not have pedals I am using a joystick, I set the parking brake knob also the toe brakes are set per instructions. The MFD shows the parking brake is set. I have tried several combinations of braking, both keyboard and joystick, with the parking brake knob below the yoke, no success. I have tested ACARS with several other aircraft and it functions properly. My joystick is a Thrust Master T-Flight Hoyas X. Edited January 25, 2020 by Delta357 Quote
Goran_M Posted January 24, 2020 Report Posted January 24, 2020 This might be something you need to address with the developers of ACARS. The TBM does use code to drive the brakes, and this might be causing something to be missed as far as ACARS is concerned. Quote
