Less than 10 fps when over Ortho scenery.

Hi,

I have some areas with ortho scenery and some areas with default scenery. When in areas with default scenery, my fps is ~40. In the places I have the ortho scenery, fps is fine after loading the plane, but it drops to less than 10 and stays there as soon as I turn on the battery. In all other planes my FPS is actually higher with the ortho scenery.

Specs:

i5 7300HQ

8GB RAMs

GTX 1060

No plugins.

RAM is your problem. Big time. I think even the minimum requirement for memory for the sim is 16GB. Ortho will chew through RAM very quickly.

I figured as much; posted here just to make sure. I had a dimm fail recently hence being on 8GB. Thank you for the quick reply.

Put in 32 GB today and all is well, had a very a satisfying flight.

Unfortunately i did find one bug:

@skiselkov Pressing "CHRT OPT" softkey while a chart is loading/downloading crashes the sim.
