42alpha Posted March 16, 2019 Report Posted March 16, 2019 Hi, Need some help here Tried to takeoff from EGNS and found ice conditions near the airport. Even with every de-ice system activated, ice has accumulated on the leading edge of the wings and stabilizer, making it impossible to climb. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks Quote

Tim013 Posted March 17, 2019 Report Posted March 17, 2019 Yeah, icing in XPlane is a little messed up right now. I personally have a hot key set up to turn on all anti-icing under the general Xplane commands. This stops the crazy high ice accretion rates. Tim Quote
