No Sound/Sidebar/Click Regions After Activating

Upon activating the product the following were observed:

  • Left hand sidebar isn't visible (tried switching in and out of windowed mode)
  • None of the interactive elements/switches are clickable
  • No sound (other X-plane aircraft have working audio).

This was the case with both x-plane 11.26 and 11.31r1 (I had to update to the latter in order for the X-Aviation registration to run).

By the time the flight session is ready, the log reports

Cannot open directory G:\xplane\X-Plane 11\\Output\TBM900\state: The system cannot find the path specified.

This directory has not been created. I'm not sure about the double path separators, but I did ask it to install to my x-plane root at 'G:\xplane\X-Plane 11'

When I examined the x-plane plugins tabs, I noticed that the TBM900 plugin is not checked.

Upon checking the box (at 2019-02-15 22:54:21), xplane crashes and a stack trace is given at the end of the log (attached).

I have un-installed/re-installed several times, and removed all plugins apart from the core ones.

Thanks in advance for your help!

That's a weird one.  One of the shortest log files I've ever seen.

I have a task for you to try.  Can you install another copy of X-Plane on to a different hard drive?  No scenery.  No other plug ins.  Vanilla X-Plane and the TBM, and see if it works in there.
