Xplane due date?

Last year, we heard 'at the end of the year'. This year, we hear the same. Let's hope that Ben is right. I'd previously pessimistically said out by July, now I'm worried!

Well it comes as no surprise to me really. Even if they could have it out in the next 2-3 months why would they? The summer holidays is not the best time to release a product like this, with everyone on holidays and occupied with outdoor acitivities, sports, bbq etc., you'll be missing out on a lot of publicity.

It make sense to delay it until the autumn in time for the holiday shopping season.

I really would like to see it sooner, but judging by the lack of news and progress I'd rather see they take another few months to get this polished and tuned as much as possible...

i dont mind waiting if the quality of the product will be at high standards. lets hope this release date will not be pushed back again.

Duh, now it all makes sense!  Microsoft has an bomb in the Earth's crust and will detonate it when XP10 comes out and MS doesn't have anything to compete.
