swole217 Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 I'm using a LG 34 inch ultra widescreen monitor and in full screen mode the side menu and also plugin menus do not work. if you switch to windowed mode everything works fine. please see picture in full screen mode. side menu will not pop out or click and plugin menu gives you this.
cessnarox Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 I use an ultra wide monitor and do not have this issue. All menu's work fine for me.
oLee42 Posted October 22, 2018 Report Posted October 22, 2018 Check if you‘re X-Plane UI size is set to something other than 100%. I don’t have an ultra wide monitor but have had similar issues in 4K with scaling enabled.

Cameron Posted October 23, 2018 Report Posted October 23, 2018 I also have an ultra wide 34 inch and do not have this issue. 4k or not?

Hmmm I've tried everything.... I was in a different topic where a couple other people has the same problem. That's where I learned about switching to windowed mode

Rhino Posted October 25, 2018 Report Posted October 25, 2018 I have the same issue, in both windowed and full screen modes, neither the side or plug-in menus work. The side menus sometimes, but not always, peek around the left edge of the screen, plug-in menu items do nothing. I attach my log file. Log.txt
skiselkov Posted October 25, 2018 Report Posted October 25, 2018 (edited) I suspect X-Plane does its internal window layout differently at times and that's what's confusing the drawing code. Are any of you running 2nd or 3rd monitors besides the one ultrawide? Even if X-Plane is not being drawn on them, I think X-Plane alters its windowing coordinate layout when it detects multiple monitors. Edited October 25, 2018 by skiselkov tt

The multiple display settings are set to extend these displays. In the X plane settings, the ultrawide is set to full screen simulator and the laptop is set to unused
