Hi there,

i just bought the Saab, it looks stunning in videos and so on, but i seem to have problem with mine. It causes crashes to desktop without even loading. The "flight" load to 80% let's say and game crash. I was searching forums and noticed, that there are similar incidents, but mostly connected to weather plugins. I don't have any weather plugin installed. If anybody could offer some help, i'd greatly appreciate it.

Cheers,

Patrik

You have the project fly plugin installed.

It is known to be buggy. Their team has been contacted but doesn't seem to care.

See this for a fix:

Or this for the story:

Sorry that you've been bothered by this. Not much more I can do about it.

Ben, thank you for top work! I tried the plane just very shortly so far, but in this one instance, no crash, nothing seemed wrong. Will i be able to use Project fly with Saab? Shame on them for ignoring the issue, but i like Project fly....

If you install the recommended Open.FlyBridge plugin you should be able to use the PF client app.

There may be some slight variation in the data it captures but from my brief testing it looks usable.

The alternative is to remember to start the PF client app after X-Plane.

This is made harder by the fact that their app likes to stay running but hidden unless you kill it with task manager.
