Radetzky Posted October 6, 2018 Report Posted October 6, 2018 Hi there, i just bought the Saab, it looks stunning in videos and so on, but i seem to have problem with mine. It causes crashes to desktop without even loading. The "flight" load to 80% let's say and game crash. I was searching forums and noticed, that there are similar incidents, but mostly connected to weather plugins. I don't have any weather plugin installed. If anybody could offer some help, i'd greatly appreciate it. Cheers, Patrik GizmoLog.txt Log.txt Quote
mjrhealth Posted October 6, 2018 Report Posted October 6, 2018 Do you have teh NOAA plugin if so try without it, was last thing in log before crash Quote
Ben Russell Posted October 7, 2018 Report Posted October 7, 2018 You have the project fly plugin installed. It is known to be buggy. Their team has been contacted but doesn't seem to care. See this for a fix: https://github.com/benrussell/Open.FlyBridge/releases Or this for the story: http://blog.x-plugins.com/2018/09/projectfly-bridge-plugin-rewrite.html Sorry that you've been bothered by this. Not much more I can do about it. 1 Quote

Will i be able to use Project fly with Saab? Shame on them for ignoring the issue, but i like Project fly.... Quote

If you install the recommended Open.FlyBridge plugin you should be able to use the PF client app. There may be some slight variation in the data it captures but from my brief testing it looks usable. The alternative is to remember to start the PF client app after X-Plane. This is made harder by the fact that their app likes to stay running but hidden unless you kill it with task manager. Quote
