Simmo W Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 Hi Everyone, just posted this response to the 'vigorous' discussion about why FSX developers have yet to move over, ESP for scenery, over at the blog. Feel free to add your opinion or thoughts, plus let me know what u think about our proposal about a volunteer scenery 'SWAT' team to create some massive, good scenery. One good sized airport in a month sound workable?Simonhttp://xplane10.wordpress.com/2011/01/30/xplane-scenery-debate-continued/ Quote
WombatBoy Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 I'd be happy to contribute some buildings or something of that sort It sounds like a great idea in my opinion. Quote
Kaphias Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 I can't do 3D work to save my life, but I'd gladly do any research and/or apt.dat work for a project like this. Would be very cool to see, though I'd imagine it to be quite difficult to coordinate. Quote

It'll be a challenging project. Isn't anything new? Quote
UH-60 Blackhawk Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 I can handle all the static aircraft and whatnot, just give me an airport diagram with labeled terminals ect. I'm no pro, but I can do most of the boring object placement while other guys (who can actually make a 3d object) can use more time on building because they won't have to worry about placement. BTW, I'm hoping to find somebody to make some buildings for my KLFI scenery, so maybe that could be the first. I can send you a diagram or the file if you want. Quote
cw7 Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 I need the practice, so let me know what I can do...You can see some of the stuff I do for Simon here: http://xp10designgroup.wordpress.com/If you like, give me an idea of what you need! Quote
