IXEG locking up sim

Hi all can someone help.

New to the IXEG only had it a few days and really nice aircraft. When i am flying i manage to set it up correctly take off engage the AP nd Lnav Vnav etc etc. Then when i go to set my STAR for my arrival the sim kind of locks up and goes to like a slide show where it pauses for 5 seconds then moves then stops again then moves etc etc.

I have had a google around and it mentions about adding an exception to firewall. My XP11 is already ticket in the list of exceptions so i dont see what else i can do

anyone had this and managed to fix it

Windows Defender/Anti Virus apps, not the firewall itself.

can you provide how to do that please cameron sorry i am not exactly pc savy so to speak

think i managed to work it out and seems fine thank you everyone happy flying
