manguras Posted October 1, 2017 Report Posted October 1, 2017 I'm really hope that IXEG make improvement on VNAV in the next update. I was flying to LGSK when plane early start descent accordingly with FMC calculation.. through the clouds I did see nothing but I was thinking is too early for descent based on altitude and disance.. the result is there below on pictures...... JetNoise Posted October 1, 2017 Report Posted October 1, 2017 Thats what happens if you trust a computer. Use a rule of thumb for your descents AND make use of your terrain radar ;-) ;-) Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-T810 mit Tapatalk Quote

JetNoise Posted October 1, 2017 Report Posted October 1, 2017 indeed actually, I was flying to LGSK as well and i followed the approach into rwy 20 as per charts. And it worked pretty well, sticking to altitudes and speeds with very little intervention. Oliver Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk Quote

I use ZFW: 90.0 lbs Fuel: 15.300 lbs and Flaps 5 for takeoff Quote

I use ZFW: 90.0 lbs Fuel: 15.300 lbs and Flaps 5 for takeoff The route should be no factor. It's all about managing your descent already prior to SKP VOR. So, calculate /verify your TOD to be 4000 or above (4000A) at SKP with the respective speeds per chart. Looking at your pictures, you were way to fast already below FL100 and below the profile anyhow... Oliver Nevertheless, LNAV needs a bit of rework (which is on the agenda ;-) ) Gesendet von meinem SM-G925F mit Tapatalk Quote
