Bill Grabowski Posted December 30, 2013 Report Posted December 30, 2013 Tom, Looks like an ERJ. Are you building one? Bill
Airbus Posted December 31, 2013 Report Posted December 31, 2013 Tom, Looks like an ERJ. Are you building one? Bill Yep its an ERJ. Its a pet project, Its mostly X-Plane flight model though.
Michael_Chang Posted January 6, 2014 Report Posted January 6, 2014 Normally i hate the idea of using blueprints, but the sheer lack of information requires it right now :/ 5
Hueyman Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Really nice ! But why the lack of infos doesn't make you refuse doing such a plane we have nothing about ?
Michael_Chang Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Really nice ! But why the lack of infos doesn't make you refuse doing such a plane we have nothing about ? Because I really like this plane, and thanks to design commonality with the 787 in many areas, it won't be very hard to create it either. At this point, it's mostly just blueprints and photos, but it'll get better eventually 3
crazYjIIGA Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Trying to convert captainsim 737, but it is a very tough one. 1
Michael_Chang Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG, in my opinion, the greatest sedan/coupe ever made, with a beautiful 6.2 litre twin turbo charged V8 housed inside that swooping hood 1

Michael_Chang Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 You're not allowed to release that without accurate sound recordings Michael!omg i know, AMG makes the best sounding cars!
Tom Knudsen Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 WOW, did you do this, may I see a wireframe version, i am about to embark on character modelling in school now
Nicola_M Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 ^^^ Yikes. Looks like that should be hanging around outside a school.
Michael_Chang Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 if you don't recognize this machine we can't be friends
Hueyman Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 You have a very strange way to reproduce things in 3D ... but it's like a new style of its own ;-)
Michael_Chang Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) "you're like a Rav4 I'm like the Aventador" Edited March 2, 2014 by Michael_Chang 1
Hueyman Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 how so? I meant it's a style of it's own, like the surrealism or impresionism etc like famous painters are reknown for ... But so far from real Take for example your aircraft carrier : this in the real world would for sure never be stable or even float, two times higher than what it should be Then the Corsair... hopefully it has it's seegull wing shape so that we can recognize it I don't know what are you aiming for but if it's the realism, you should take time to watch carrefully and understand how real airframes and such are built ( from a mechanical/technical point of view ) and assimilate the notion of blueprints, proportions and perspective etc BUT, if you just want to have fun with Blender and create fantasy things, then I think that's the way to go mate ;-)
Flying_pig Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 (edited) well that ship was the first one I ever modeled so it makes sense that parts of it look terrible (as well it looks to high because the water sim was to low, I could of made it higher but it was a 350 res simulation running across the length of an aircraft carrier...) and that corsair only took 3 hours to make so I didn't expect it to be perfect (I am amazed you didn't notice that the wildcat didn't have a tail and that the P47 didn't have gear bays (they were designed as background props so that is why they are lowish quality) Edited March 3, 2014 by Flying_pig
Hueyman Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 I am amazed you didn't notice Lol, I noticed so much more but it's useless to point everything out !
Flying_pig Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 If you can't guess this... and yah I hate that texture too, best one I could find on google since I posses 0 2d art skill...
Gjalp Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 very nice.....although you are missing a set of road wheels at the back 2d mapping isnt that hard as long as you have set your UV's out properly, something that will prove a challenge with the detail of the B29s engines. Still, its looing good and your modelling skills are really coming along nicely. Cant wait to see more!!!! Slainte, AndyNZCH
