777-300 Posted October 23, 2016 Report Posted October 23, 2016 I am in love with this product as it makes all the difference in the world with the clouds. I was wondering if anyone could recommend where I might tweak my settings so I get the most realistic clouds and sky. Enclosing a screen shot of my current settings. I know it shows I am low on video and systems RAM but I haven't had any crashes because of it. Quote
sundog Posted October 24, 2016 Report Posted October 24, 2016 At your cloud area setting, I don't think fast vs. crisp on the cloud puff type will make much of a difference. If you prefer the look of "crisp", go for it. What will make the most difference is increasing your cloud area covered setting, but as you noted you're pretty tight on memory already. Still, see how far you can increase it while in cloudy conditions while maintaining acceptable performance. Quote
777-300 Posted October 24, 2016 Author Report Posted October 24, 2016 I'll try crisp out. I appreciate your help. Quote
thinkingabout Posted November 7, 2016 Report Posted November 7, 2016 what grafik card do u use? if possible, minimum is a gtx970,better gtx 1060 and up, try 40000 sq km...the difference beetween 10000 and 40000 in loosing frames is not so much ,but much more clouds around the plane ...using 50000 is giving an extreme lost of frames.
