Divilium Posted July 19, 2016 Report Posted July 19, 2016 Good evening, I have been facing for a week now a very annoying problem with the aircraft. I just moved to windows 10 (I was on mac before, everything worked well but wanted better performances.) So I install XPlane, install Ixeg's 737 and Skymaxx. But when I load the aircraft, the problem starts. I am there, seating in a cold and dark cockpit, with all ground equipments attached outside and no activation window showing up. I don't even have the left menu or 737 part in plugin menu. I am trying to fix this problem for a week now and I am quite desperate now. I am using Windows 10 with a Nvidia GeForce GTX960 and 8Gb of RAM. My video card pilots are up to date. You will find enclosed my log attached. It seems that Guizmo is at the end of log shutting down every process. Please help me. Thank you very much in advance ! Log.txt Quote
Ben Russell Posted July 20, 2016 Report Posted July 20, 2016 Gizmo doesn't like international symbols in filenames. Your username is "Clément" This makes your desktop folder: C:\Users/Clément/Desktop/X-Plane 10/ Move X-Plane and Gizmo to another folder that only has standard boring american characters in the path name and it should work better. (This is on the list of things to fix..) Quote
judeb Posted July 20, 2016 Report Posted July 20, 2016 I love the "standard boring american characters" By default, since Windows Vista, it's recommended to install any FS software - FSX/P3D in the root location of a drive - eg: D:\X-Plane 10 or D:\P3D etc etc. Quote
Divilium Posted July 20, 2016 Author Report Posted July 20, 2016 (edited) Hi guys, I would like to thank you so much ! It's working well and I've been able to activate my X Aviation products ! I just moved my Xplane folder to C:/ just like you advised me. Thanks again ! Edited July 20, 2016 by Divilium Quote
