steven winslow Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Just a couple of shots of my Duchess and the KMPI scenery Simon is working on. Yes, I know....I should bump up my resolution and turn on pixel shading when I'm doing screenshots...but I think they still look pretty good..... Quote
Oliver Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Nice!! Are you going to release that repaint? I'd love to have it Quote
steven winslow Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Posted October 7, 2010 Pilotman,Tell me the tail number you want and the color you want and I'll see what I can do. There can't be two of these with the same tail number, right? Quote
steven winslow Posted October 8, 2010 Author Report Posted October 8, 2010 Okay, had a request from Oliver to paint the Duchess like this Seneca....so I did it. I also changed the upholstery and panel colors to go with the livery a little better. Still have some work to do on it, but it's looking good. Here's the real world SenecaAnd the LES Duchess....I love this plane!!That'll keep you busy viewing! Off to post them on the org!! : Quote

MaidenFan Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Where can I get that beautiful blue livery? Quote
Simmo W Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 Nice blue livery Steve, make it a hint darker? Actually, a jet black one would look mean, or at least very dark navy. Quote
steven winslow Posted October 9, 2010 Author Report Posted October 9, 2010 Simon,Have a tail number in mind? Any other embellishment ideas to go along with that dark blue or black livery? Accent colors? Quote
steven winslow Posted October 9, 2010 Author Report Posted October 9, 2010 Rush,Do you like it as it is or do you want to make any changes? Of course, yours could not have the same tail number. Have a tail number in mind? I think I just finished the final touches on this livery. I'm pretty sure I'll be making a delivery to Oliver tomorrow.Let me know....Steve Quote
Simmo W Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 maybe a dark nay/lighter navy combo? Don't rely on my taste for colour!ah Bathurst qualifying on at this minute, a rev head's dream! Quote
peteb Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 @Steve W.Hi Steve, I was just browsing through looking for MU-2 paints and came across your paints for the Duchess. The ones supplied aren't very inspiring. I really like the maroon version - very classy. I don't suppose you could do one for me? I'm not worried about the tail number. Quote
steven winslow Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 Pete, I'll be doing some painting this weekend and I'll see what I can whip up. I'll pick a tail number for you. E-mail me at winslowphoto@yahoo.com so I know where to "ferry" the plane.Rush, are you still interested in the blue/gold livery? I'll pick a tail number for you and send it out this weekend. And e-mail so I can "ferry" your plane, too. Quote
steven winslow Posted October 15, 2010 Author Report Posted October 15, 2010 Simon, I haven't forgotten about you! I'll be working on a black livery for you, too. Quote
