decapod
G'day all,I'm experimenting with writing an OBJ export program for the modelling tool I use for MS FS9 and FSX.I have no experience of building scenery for X-Plane (though I do own X-plane 9) so would anyone here like to try out my first two text OBJ files?(see attachment on this post 3DCObjTest1.zip)They both appear OK in the OBJ viewer tool but I've not loaded them into X-plane yet.The models are a small hut and an RAF range rover fire engine.Cheers,Paul3dcObjtest1.zip

Kaphias
Good job! I see there is a free version on 3D Canvas, if you were to publicly release this plugin, would it work with that too?

AnonymousUser68
Yes apparently you need "pro" for $70.
decapod
I lived in Sydney for many years and have Australian citizenship but I'm now back in my native UK.On the front page of the 3D canvas website is an Aussie steam loco that I made.I'm writing the plugin to enable me to port over a few aircraft models I've been making - mostly 1930's British stuff. My first (and only published) model was the BA Swallow 2 for FSX over at classicbritishfiles.com
