LotharK Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 The Takeoff Configuration Warning system works well for the first time takeoff (or after replacing / reloading the plane), but the horn sounds for every following takeoff even without a (known) configuration conflict. I still use the “Ready to Fly” option and do manual flight exercises. Thank you for this unique piece of artwork and also for your perfect support. It’s really worth every single cent Lothar Quote
Nils Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 Hi Lothar, is your elevator trim in the green range when this happens? The horn should only go off if you have brakes applied, no flaps extended or an out-of-trim condition. Quote
LotharK Posted May 5, 2016 Author Report Posted May 5, 2016 Hi Nils, Yes, I tried these all and a lot more... Quote
Nils Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 Ok, not able to reproduce this at the moment. Can you share more details on your aircraft configuration when you get this problem? Flap setting, trim setting, speedbrake setting, park brake setting? Quote
stealthbob Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 Spoilers should not be armed...this was the typical issue for most (including myself) Flaps Set/Trim set/RTO set...should be good Quote
LotharK Posted May 6, 2016 Author Report Posted May 6, 2016 I am sorry my graphics card finished working this morning… Thank you for your help so far Quote
LotharK Posted May 7, 2016 Author Report Posted May 7, 2016 Found out the cause for that strange behaviour - It was the spoiler lever position… I have the speedbrakes movement on an axle and also on Joystick switches for step by step movements (specially for arming the ground spoilers). So when I arm the ground spoilers with the switch on the joystick and (after landing) retract it with the axle the system doesn’t realize that the spoilers are fully retracted and the warning horn blows at next takeoff. Just have to retract the (retracted spoiler lever) once more with the switch on the joystick Quote
Litjan Posted May 7, 2016 Report Posted May 7, 2016 Thanks for reporting back and happy you got it working! Jan 1 Quote
