clavel9 Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Very nice indeed, especially the work on the pedestal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
ksgy Posted April 6, 2014 Author Report Posted April 6, 2014 This weekend focused on the instrument panel dirtyness and the middle part (engines) of the panel. These are just without any additional effects and the dirt needs some fine tuning too, but it's really getting into the shape In the mean time, started to work the new plugin-based engine model as well, which will provide the exact numbers from manual - of course, if you're operating the engines right 5 Quote
ksgy Posted May 18, 2014 Author Report Posted May 18, 2014 Nothing really new. Just continuing texturing the panel. When it's ready, will be there some shots Quote
sqrt(-1) Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 Just a small update But apparently big progress... Quote
ksgy Posted June 2, 2014 Author Report Posted June 2, 2014 Nothing yet animated and the cockpit itself has a scandalously-low texture When most of the visuals are fixed, will be a release afterwards. 2 Quote
ksgy Posted July 27, 2014 Author Report Posted July 27, 2014 Last week just finished with UV mapping of the cockpit frame. The normal blender UV-map baking took exactly 9 hours to render. With the new cycles render (50 cycle) took about 5 minutes. (Never-mind the texture holes on the first image, no Photoshop work done at this phase yet) Here are the results: Blender render: Cycles render: Quote
shishkabab Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 next beta release ? Soon... hopefully Quote
ksgy Posted August 8, 2014 Author Report Posted August 8, 2014 A quick update Nowadays struggling with animations. Trying to make the animations in Blender 2.6-2.7 with XPlaneBlender 3.2, but seems like I have to revert back to the old Export script. Once I have nested animations, all goes wrong. I'd like to have at least all the instruments and controls animated (preferably with manipulators) and with a simple interior texture. After these are done, I promise there will be a release 2 Quote
shishkabab Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the update. Better late than never. Edited August 29, 2014 by shishkabab Quote

ksgy Posted October 4, 2014 Author Report Posted October 4, 2014 Small update: All pilot and copilot side instruments animated. Now moving on to manipulators. Took a while to figure it out how those works with the export script, but now it's pretty straightforward now Now all needles are moving, it's really fun to fly this plane Quote
ksgy Posted October 6, 2014 Author Report Posted October 6, 2014 beta realese ? http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/2447-let-l-410-ha-lar/?p=77294 Quote
UA90 Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Can't even compare with project oblivion's l410 (wich is full of garbage). As 79carboy said, "Awesome!" Quote
ksgy Posted February 8, 2015 Author Report Posted February 8, 2015 Had a bit of time to make UV mapping and texture baking for yokes: 2 Quote
