  1. Great to see SMP going to v 4. Looks like a very promising upgrade. Looking very much forward to people streamin it when it gets released. After that I will consider purchasing it.
  2. this is great news Frank! hope to see update of RWC with this feature soon!!!
  3. Reading about the art of t/d with the 737 might I suggest something: It would be great if Jan could produce a couple of landings where he also records his joystick(throttle and stick/yoke) movements. that would be really awsome and might help newbies and veterans get better at landing this beauty
  4. It seems it's not high on the developers list to investigate into this matter as x-plane ATC is not really a hot feature of x-plane and used only by few

  6. Tom, I am very glad to hear that the option with starting in the air is tested and possible. Thank you for the explanation!
  7. Very nice video! I have a question. When you do such test like in the video, do you start loaded in the air and land or do you first do the whole start up and take off procedure and then prepare for land? Since you said you are repeating certain situations dozens of times I suppose you have come up with a way to spare yourself needless iterations of systems you have already checked. Keep up the great work. Very much looking forward to seeing this acf released!
  8. I decided not to dig further into the issue because the sadly underdeveloped XP10 ATC does not deserve it...
  9. Thanks for your reply. Its a pitty we have such a crappy looking moon when almost everything is more or less smooth. I was hoping your addon would alter thata. Have a nice day!
  10. Hi, thanks for the add-on. I tried it today, using XP10.21 and the 4K DDS What I noticed is that there is no visual difference when I look at the moon from my cockpit. The difference is noticed greatly when I zoom my view on the moon, then I see the enormous details of the texture. I guess that's how X-Plane works, Please find attached screenshots. The first one is without any zoom, the second and third ones are zoomed. I also attach my rendering settings for info
  11. There is an extensive topic about this issue here A workaround exists, it has something to do with the autopilot constants, as far as I remember, the devs did not want to accept it as a bug because not everybody experience this issue.
  12. Hey just updated he CRJ to v1.5 Loaded up XP10.10 activated as usual, then restarted XP Doing the checklist and when I press POS INIT, X-Plane freezes and crashes!
  13. Hi Phillip, I can confirm that both with the plane in cold and dark and with everything up and running the AI planes do not move. If I load the defaul 777 they start moving, and the moment I load the CRJ everything on the ground freezes. One more thing, the planes in the air move alright, but they land really weird, the nose poing almost vertically towards the ground and needless to say the land looks very very hard. Really funny behavior
  14. Well in my case it is pretty much the Avionics plugin of the CRJ that causes the planes to stop moving. The second I disable it the planes rush to their assigned locations. In rare cases I see planes moving very, and I mean very very slowly, more like snails when the plugin is running.
  15. Hey thanks for the great reply. Your findings mean that it is a problem with my pc/configuration. But as I mentioned in my first post, i tried everything on a newly installed xp10 demo with clean preferences and a freshly installed crj.
  16. Hi there, ok do me a favor and try out the following: May be you could also reproduce the problem with your current installation of X-Plane but I just made sure it was not anything else that was causing this strange behavior. - Get a brand new installation of X-Plane 10.5r1(can be also the Demo) - install the CRJ 200 1.4.5 - start X-Plane - after you see the inside of the default B747, wait for 10-15 seconds - bring up the location map and chek out to see if the planes that were on the ground together with you have moved. There should be a small purple line showing the path they have travelled since start. It should be visible. - now load the CRJ and then quit X-Plane so it would be loaded the next time we start the sim - start X-Plane and wait for 10-15 seconds - I do not know what you will see, but I do not see any planes on the ground moving, only those that are in the air have a purple line aded to them. What I noticed is that if I disable the CRJ Avionics plugin and reload the AI planes they immediately start moving, and afterwards if I try to reenable the plugin again X-Plane crashes. So to wrap it up: CRJ is loaded and the Avionics plugin active - no ground AI movement CRJ is loaded and the Avionics plugin disabled - ground AI movement present Any other default XP10 plane is loaded and the plugin active or disabled - ground AI movement present I know that ATC is work in progress, but I still enjoy it when flying planes other than the CRJ. I hope there is a workaround for me here. I am currently using X-Plane 10.05r1 and CRJ-200 1.4.5 under Windows 7x64
  17. Thanks for your reply. Yes I thought about situations, and it would probably work. I would prefer though if I there was a way of doing this without using the load/save situations.
  18. Hello All, Does anybody know if it is possible to change the default starting amount of payload and fuel for the CRJ-200? I know that if one wants to change the default livery you have to open the plane in plane maker, change the livery there and save the plane. I tried to do the same with the starting payload and fuel but did not find those settings. Any help will be appreciated. Have a nice Day!
  19. ;D great now i got it, nver knew there was an additional folder except the aircraft folder thanks a bunch!!
  20. Please find attached a screenshot of my main crj200 folder, there is no DisplayFrames.tga file in there. There is one under COCKPIT but it is a .png file.
  21. Hello all, Does anyone have problems removing the display frames on MAC for the crj200? I cannot get them to disappear. I even deleted the corresponing DisplayFrame.png in the COCKPIT folder and it still does nothing. Am I missing something? Mac OS v10.6.7, CRJ v1.1.1 P.S. Wonderfull plane you guys, I enjoy using it very, very much!
