  1. Not a good solution. It's SSAA anti aliasing that is causing stutters with this aircraft only and there needs to be an official patch which addresses it. Developers also need to focus on why their aircraft is causing crashes to desktop and handle the exception in the code and not let the sim crash. No other aircraft has the random crashes to desktop like the TBM 900. Stop blaming all third parties and fix your code! Greazer.
  2. Yes I have this Exact problem with XP Vulkan, I have an i7-8700k and 1080 Ti. The stuttering is only with TBM 900. It's very annoying and makes this product unusable to me. Also still seeing the obligatory random crashes after all this time. It never gets solved. I don't get random crashes with other aircraft. Only TBM 900. What's going on after so long? It needs fixing. Greazer.

  4. Can you please do a simple test. With working TBM on Vanilla XP (no addons) - install DrGluck Terrain Radar and see if that introduces crashes.   6. I mean a lot of people download Ortho4xp tiles and sim with satellite scenery. Ortho4xp tiles include the mesh data. Suggest to Disable the TBM terrain system (syn vision etc) and do some test flights with and without Ortho4xp tiles. That could weed out the issue. Edit: I tried an airport without Ortho tiles and got the Error, so that theory is shot: TBM900[except.c:282]: Something reinstalled our exception handler, replaced it with 0000000000000000 Greazer.
  7. I am coming back to this plane after a while, everything is fine, but also getting crashes too. It always happens about 10-15 seconds in when everything is loading. I am not even using Active Sky or FSGRW that some people seem to suggest is the cause. I have relatively few addons with 11.41 install. Some posts assume it is due to 3rd Party plugins. Frankly, using common sense, this is not due to any 3rd party plugins, otherwise it would have been figured out by now. And if it were due to a 3rd party plugin people would get these crashes with other aircraft. Isn't happening. I'm 99.9% sure this is some issue in TBM 900 code. Is there not an Exception trace to determine exactly what throws the Error? Greazer.

  9. I think I have uncovered a bug in the latest version. I am on 1.1.3 with X Plane 11.30 RC2. When on the Localizer and G/S and autopilot is then disconnected, the flight mode changes to ROL and PIT. In earlier versions of the 900 it would remain on LOC and GS. I cannot say for sure that this is a bug, but it seems like a bug was introduced. When the AP is disconnected, LOC and GS should still remain engaged(?) I can't see why it wouldn't remain so. Other than that, the synthetic vision is not always working, and seems to depend on which scenery is installed. Also, I have done flights with a destination airport programmed in the Garmin but when landing getting the terrain warning sounds. And I saw messages on how to Inhibit the warnings, but it should not be necessary. Surely the warnings should not sound in the first place if the route is programmed. I hope this issue can be addressed also.
  10. Did not stall before landing. Warning comes 2-3 seconds after touching down rear landing gear. A real pilot needs to confirm if this a bug or not.
  11. The flight model seems improved to me. For one thing I could hardly flare on touch down before. Now I can flare.
  12. I am watching the replay, and see that "Air Speed" gets called after touch down. Maybe 2 or 3 seconds after landing. It seems like a bug....
  13. On some flights I have activated the approach Ok, the IAF became the activate way point and the approach started. However at other times, like just now, I have an approach in the system entered previously, but after pressing Menu, there is no such menu item to Activate the Approach. I see Activate Leg, but not Activate the Approach. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
  14. I did several takeoff's and landings with 1.1.2. Were there any flight model changes with 1.1.2? Just seems to be much smoother landings now. Less "ballooning" effect with full flaps deployed. I'm not fighting the controls as much to pitch down to land. I'm not sure, did anybody notice it??
  15. I do have zzz_hd_global_scenery4 base mesh at the lowest layer, and have the relevant dsf tiles, so not sure why it aint working.
  16. I tried another airport (YRED) in Australia and it has the same issue. SYN VIS -> SYN TERR, it displays blue water instead of green. I did generate Ortho4xp, but I did this also in US and in US it works. It is not working at those Australian airports.
  17. I have been using Synthetic Vision regularly. Just now I tried a flight from Bankstown Sydney, ICAO Code: YSBK. Synthetic Vision is not working. Blue Sky, Blue "Ground" (instead of Green). Any ideas?
  18. The plane costs over 4 millions dollars partly because of all the advanced avionics and Garmin systems. To Not use those tools is a Huge waste of money and means you are flying the wrong plane!
  19. The Hotstart is tough to pitch down with full flaps due to the ballooning effect with full flaps. It is very tough to main the center line on takeoff and landing (even with all the tips and pointers). I'm sue the real pilots do not have these struggles (I have seen videos on youtube). I hope the Hotstart will be tweaked to improve these areas.
  20. VNAV works fine here too. That the whole point it reduces workload on the pilot to focus on other things. To Not use those tools is poor piloting.
  21. I have the latest version but I have noticed for a while there seems to be an issue with environment sounds (wind). The sound of the wind is definitely heard inside the plane when I experiment with about 30 knots (maybe too loud). If I open the door the wind sound is exactly the same. If I then move the camera through the open door, outside the plane, the wind sound is completely gone.

    I think the best demand will be for a high fidelity glass cockpit business jet. It doesn't exist yet. Cheers.
