Really amazing shots, all of them. I go back and forth between XP9, XP10.11 and XP10.20r1 and for scenery right now (I am working with Bamboo Cougar and some others to get The Iditarod 2013 Adventure Challenge ready for both XP9 & XP10) that I prefer XP 9 because of Winter World, although She Pooley has done a fantastic job with "SimpleSeasons". I have some screenshots posted here in XP 10 as well. Thanks for your comments.

John, not quite sure what you mean by 'cloud slider'. I have 'lo cirris' clouds set for 10,000 ft. This is XP9 default clouds

Isn't there a Shuttle (Enterprise) on the USS Intrepid (Aircraft Carrier) in NYC? never say never. Although it wasn't exactly 'landed' there. lol http://www.csmonitor.com/var/ezflow_site/storage/images/media/content/2012/0606-space-shuttle-enterprise-intrepid/12768209-1-eng-US/0606-space-shuttle-enterprise-intrepid_full_600.jpg

JohnMAXX: That's great and I am glad to hear you are working on Winter Scenery. Once again this year I am doing the Iditarod Dog Sled race as a flight adventure and could use some additional Winter Scenery. I use She Pooley's 'Simple Seasons' mod which is outstanding, but we all could use more Winter scenery for the Iditarod Dog Sled Race and your effort really looks great. please check our efforts for the Iditarod in this thread on EPOCH and it would be great if you joined our efforts. http://www.unex-planedapps.com/apps/forums/topics/show/8545713-introduction

The updated complete flight plan for the entire route of the 2013 Iditarod is almost complete. This annual dog sled race is perhaps the last great race in the world. It will be posted at the website of EPOCH Alaska Air (http://www.unex-planedapps.com/) with continuing updates for use by anyone. Links will be provide here to that posting. I hope you enjoy. Remember, the last great race in the world occurs in March. You can follow it all, and, fly it yourself as it happens. You will not find a detailed trail map, and especially a detailed flight plan, anywhere else on the internet. Join the Adventure.

tkyler: After having read your candid and informative narrative concerning the relationship with .org and the beginnings of this website, the first thing I did today was go to X-Scenery, establish a membership, and purchase the MU2. I haven't even unzipped it yet, but will be flying it very soon. I am sure it is an awesome aircraft. Interesting in that my next aircraft was planned to be an .org aircraft but I do not plan to be buying anything there in the near future. I was not surprised by your comments involving Nickolas. Through my very limited experience with him, it was very clear to me his entrepreneur expertise was extremely limited by his lack of customer orientation and customer appreciation. It is highly contrary to basic business principles, let alone conducive to business growth, to be so dismissive and arrogant to your customer base. I have spent many hundreds of dollars at .org. He has seen his last purchase from me, attributable to irrational behavior and arrogant handling of a simple reasonable comment. I have post graduate degrees in the field of business and have held a number of senior positions involved directly with customer relations. Thank both you and Cameron, and thanks for x-Scenery, a beautiful aircraft in the MU2, and a a great website in X-Pilot.

Flight Simulator with X-Plane on a PC running X-Plane and the iPad 'Picture in Picture' view of running 'AirTrack' App controlling the Flight Path of a Cessna 172SP through the mountainous terrain of Rainy Pass Alaska as just one leg of the annual Iditarod Dog sled Race from Anchorage to Nome. The full flight plan and Iditarod trial will be provided in subsequent postings as the annual Iditarod occurs in March. http://youtu.be/A5eDR866JSc

Thanks. Actually I am posting the video of this flight probably this weekend. I am in the process of completing my flight plan for the Iditarod 2013 from Anchorage to Nome Alaska. I took this screenshot just after the ROHN checkpoint in Rainy Pass. The main aspect of this is that I am flying a very complicated flight plan without the use of a FMS computer in the aircraft by using AirTrack App on my iPad linked through my WIFI to XP-10. The iPad provides all of the updates to the GPS in the Cessna 172 and guides it through the mountain ranges and valleys of the Iditarod Trail to follow the exact path of the dogsleds, which themselves are actually equipted with GPS devices and available for tracking. Probably a lot more than you wanted to know, but this screenshot is part of my new video I am making for the full flight plan. You can see the old video which is controlled through my iPhone in YouTube but the current one is still in process. I am not sure if I am allowed to provide the YouTube link here so i will just post a pic of the flight plan of this portion where I flew my Cessna 172 in Rainy Pass.
