  1. And just think of the fun when you throw in Xbox Kinect for Windows http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=27876 . You can sit back and Fly with an imaginary Joystick or Yoke .
  2. You will be forced to use Games for Windows Live and it will probably be distributed through Steam . Looking at my FSX file it is about 18 gigabites in size . If MS Flight is supposed to be equal to or a step up from FSX I would assume that the file size should be the same or larger ( We all know how long it took to download the Xplane 10 demo 3gigs ) so I would guess that the initial download will be very similar to Xplane10 Demo . Based on the Seattle area the Home of Microsoft.
  3. steven winslow Xplane remote downloadable from the appstore Larry
  4. If just too listen to the 3d sounds it would be worth it.

  10. Has anyone tried Canadian Rockies or Inside Passage In Xplane 10 yet ?
  11. Try landing or taking off with your brakes on Puffs of something coming from the Tires (it looks like smoke?) . Found this out when trying to run the progressivebraking pythonscript and could not realease the brakes.
  12. was just playing around with the cloud settings and wow you can get some nice looking clouds with the default system but its also hard on the frame rates .
  13. Cameron Just wondering if you have heard of any plans from REX for Xplane 10 / Larry

  15. Just ordered XPX how long should it be before I get it ?
  16. Ok thanks Cameron and Merry Christmas Larry
  17. Tom is it possible to run the Falco in the Xplane10 Demo or will it mess up my activation for Xplane 9 ? what other aircraft have been done by you in Xplane 10 ? Merry Christmas
  18. If you have updated to AMD Catalyst 11.12 and found performance in Xplane choppy and slow may want to try the AMD Catalyst 12.1 preview drivers available at the link below. http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/Catalyst121Previewdriver.aspx
  19. Tom look at what they said when FSX was realeased and a lot of people are still saying it and it only ever had 2 service packs and FS9 only had 1 . XPX has already had how many updates at least 5 . so there is a lot more to look forward to .I have not yet purchased XPX but am flying the demo but look forward to purchasing it in the new year . The aircraft in XPX are awsome . I was told that the beach Baron was one of yours is this true ?
  20. I made a new folder on my second drive and called it the named it Program Files (x86) and moved the Xplane 10 file into it and it improved my frame rate and made it equal to the copy I had in C:Program Files (x86)
  21. I posted this on the Xplane10 demo forum but thought I would post it here also I have one copy of Xplane10 demo located in the programs86 folder in windows 7 64 On a seperate drive I have placed a copy of it in the first partition . This is the only Item on that partiition . I also have no Page file on this drive . I would think that being an exact copy that the frame rates would be the same but they are lower on the second drive .I have have found other programs that recomend that they be installed outside the Program Files (x86) file to fix problems I have also found that with an amateur radio program I use Called echo link had audio problems untill I moved it to the Program Files (x86) file . It would seem that windows7 64 uses the Program Files (x86) file to run 32bit programs properly . So I decided to make a file on the second drive and call it Program Files (x86) and move Xplane 10 demo into it and now my frame rates are the same on both copies . If you are running Xplane 10 or Xplane on a seperate Drive try this and see if it works for you . Here is a link that explanes this: http://www.samlogic.net/articles/32-64-bit-windows-folder-x86-syswow64.htm Larry

  23. Just wondering If anyone has an explanation for the following . I have one copy of Xplane10 demo located in the programs86 folder in windows 7 64 On a seperate drive I have placed a copy of it in the first partition . This is the only Item on that partiition . I also have no Page file on this drive . I would think that being an exact copy that the frame rates would be the same but they are lower on the second drive .
