  1. Agree Kesomir, I suspect that's one of the reasons for the delay, getting the right mix and blend for each area. Love the fences between each property!
  2. What does it say G? I lost the plot after para (?) 10. Executive Summary please?
  3. Very sad Javier, with all your effort spent. I know this would have been a very difficult decision. Now it's been made, move on and learn from this experience. :'( :'(

Thanks Cam. 'blendeth' just came to me and sounded so right! Off to google for a 'ye olde English translator'. Already found this: http://www.william-shakespeare.org.uk/a1-shakespearean-insults-generator.htm
  5. Ha, got this result when I hadn't edited the .lit textures yet. Doh!

Yeah, and to comply with the many rules about vulgar language in this forum, I've emailed goran with my thoughts on the displays, as they look now, even when OFF. A cleaner version of my email: "Dearest Goran, I am verily enamoured with your displays and their fairest reflection of thy seats. Wilst thou thankest Theo, he Blendeth thy textures as sunlight dances on a maiden's... ;D
  7. If you've got the download weather from the net automatically option clicked, that may override any changes u make to weather. Try unclicking that and making weather scattered or clear
  8. Hi Bob, sounds like you're having fun wading through all the scenery support. It takes a bit of fiddling and practice before it all sinks in, hardly intuitive or straight forward, but if I can understand it, anyone can. This is a good excuse for me to finally issue this instructional that I've been planning to post to our blog & everywhere, after my own struggles, so here goes. Further suggestions and improvements welcome, especially for the supposed 'coding' using DSFs that I just couldn't get perfect! I got it working, but still had to stretch the image to an extent. So I just got off my tush and did a new post at our Blog
  9. Thanks Oliver, yes they are good. Unfortunately the promotion went a little too well, servers overloaded all fixed now.

    Ha, that is crazy-real then!
  11. Chip has done a thorough preview of this impressive new freeware plane (due out very soon), produced by Mr Aircraft Carrier (Khamsin) and our good friend Arnaud. I've only flown it too briefly (too busy finishing KMMH), but I can say Chip's preview looks on target. Thanks again to XPFR, this great group of hard workers. click here
  12. Javier, I second everyone else's messages, and thanks for being so open with the CRJ. challenges. As a loyal fan and promoter of your work, I'm confident the votes and your maths aren't a reflection of final sales. Eg the poll doesn't count .org customers who will be swayed. Do another beautiful scenery with custom hangars for each of your birds, charge $7.95 and watch us all buy!
  13. Benny, this looks like it has great potential. Possibly an xplane10 preview, as I've heard it will be using OSM data heavily. How will textures be generated? A hundred boxes with no textures won't look great, I'm sure you're already thinking about that. I hope it's not too good, or Oliver's just wasted a lot of effort in his scenery project! Great work
  14. Thanks guys, I hope this worked! Saw it when out tonight, made me chuckle: Cool, it did work. Thanks Kaph, that was a good tip, I'd tried pasting another form of the link between the [img's] but it didn't end in jpg, causing errors.
  15. See, I searched for answers before asking this reeaaallly stupid question: What is the syntax for embedding a web image into a post? I've tried using the buttons but can't get it to work. Thanks
  16. Thanks Kaph and everyone for your thoughts. Fortunately we are approx 2000km south of this area. The economic losses, as well as human, will be huge.
  17. Thanks Nout. And to think, not long ago we were struggling through DROUGHT. A sick joke of nature.
  18. Our Thoughts for the dead, injured and homeless of Queensland, Australia. I've a good friend in Laidley about to have his second flood in 4 yrs. I heard that the flooded area was larger than France and Germany, and that was a few days ago. Half the world's Coking coal exports disrupted so metal prices to double.. Some pictures here: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/gallery/gallery-e6frewxi-1225985189465?page=1
  19. Why? I'm finding more and more I can't fly without it. Can't stand the random tiles, but lower res scenery (below 16) can be annoying.
  20. That looks absolutely fantastic Uwe, Epic! Almost Lebelge scale, glad you are persevering. Can't wait to try it. So many buildings.
  21. Ha Dozer, same here, would love Ireland too. If photos were recent (they're not) it'd be boring, white everywhere. Snoworld.

    Insane skill

    Good one Indi! 1:15, wow.
  23. Agree Cameron, great to see more coverage of the world. I dont think I've ever flown in the UK, so this'll be a good excuse. I'll have to fly only during the day though, Amerrir confirms it has no night textures (thanks for the link Wow, I had read that very early review of the Beta).
  24. Right, I'm confused. This link claims the new UK scenery is the best. I'll take a hit and order pack 3, for the Welsh and Manchester area, and be reporting back in the blog with a direct comparo. -1 already with the delivery method, snail mail to get FOUR DVDs delivered.. http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/x-planestore/Categories?category=Scenery%3AUK+Photo+Scenery
  25. Ha, I'll see what I can do, she loves Aussies and I once sat in a cafe one seat from Mr Wolverine's wife. I can just imagine O saying 'look under your seats! Everyones got a copy of.. Xplane!!!' 'you're all going to...RENO!'
