I believe that John really nailed it with this add-on it is really incredible and I don't see any performance drop maybe the second I look into the death rays Ahahaha. Actually the fps improves as these clouds are tiny (the file) compared to what I used to have before. 256 vs 1024 res. There can't be performance drop because of the clouds. I have only one issue which is that the clouds are horribly black at sunset, this was fixed in the replacement package of clouds by Sabach since the shader was adjusted. So maybe John if you could tweak the shader a bit in a next update I would be extreeeeemely pleased. Thanks!

I've just purchased Skymaxxpro and noticed that it put its own gizmo plugin in my plugins folder where the SAAB's gismo usually is. This time instead I had the SAAB's gizmo temporarily put in my Plugin (disabled) folder so question is: when I want to fly the Saab is Skymaxxpro's gizmo compatible for the SAAB? Sorry it might be a dumb question but I'm not familiar with gizmo. Thanks

I noticed that the light casted on to the runway both taxi and landing light is very week in cockpit view, in spot view is totally fine. The taxi light is barely noticeable and mostly at the time of a turn, when the plane goes straight there is almost zero light. Is this meant to be like that and if not is there a chance to have more powerful lights in a next update? Thanks.

Sure... 1) I believe I must have clicked the trim... 99% positive. 2) yes 3) sorry, I meant the EADI so the modes were disappearing when AP on (green) and were appearing again with AP off (white) I'll try to reproduce it tonight, it should be simple.

I love the rain effect on the windshield but the drops are just a few while in the reality the water would be really much more. Is it possible to increase the number of the drops so that one must use the wiper in order to clean up the windshield? Thanks.

I would like to report this thing that just happened on a recent flight: I was climbing with AP engaged and everything was just fine the modes engaged were HDG and IAS, checklist completed up to the climb check. At some point I was hovering with the mouse cursor the area on the yoke, where the trim and red disengage button are, and accidentally clicked and this is what happens: 1. AP disengages + warning sound 2. Tried to switch the AP again on but when it was on the modes weren't working and they were disappearing from the ND too, so AP ON but no modes. 3. Tried to switch AP off and it does switch OFF, the modes reappear on the ND and AP panel. 4. Tried to re-switch AP ON and it does go on but modes disappear again from the ND. and over and over, with the result that I wasn't able to fly with the AP on anymore, which I liked and I also enjoyed the failure as a one time event. Now everything started from a mistake on my side but obviously there was a problem with the AP was I supposed to reset it somehow? Was this a bug? Just want to report it to you. Edit: I turned the AP on with the mouse and with my joystick, tried both way with the same result.

I apologize if this might have been reported before this is the second time that on short final and fully configured for landing I get the GPWS warning with the entire sequence from too low terrain to too low flaps, but landing gear is out, flaps are full, no fuel imbalance, and no warnings on the annunciator panel. I completed each checklist am I forgetting something or doing something wrong?

Ah thanks Jim I see the callout files inside the sound/alert folder but NOT inside the Resources/Sounds/Alert then I watched that video where I can clearly hear a "500" callout and I freaked out Mystery is solved!
-
Totally understood! Question: Why I can't hear the altitude callouts?
-
Thanks so much for taking your time to reply and posting that awesome video. In this video I do hear the gear handle just before the hydraulic pump it is exactly like the sound files, the only problem (for me because I'm a total sound freak ) is that when I'm flying even with engines at 30% and other things like avionics fans down I cannot hear it loud and clear like in this video. I would love to hear that "clack" at 00:15 I don't feel like this plane needs any alteration from my side I just wanted to find a solution myself rather than bothering you guys (busy with the update ) I'm am very comfortable at sound editing and I ALWAYS make a backup first :) I'm totally in love with this plane! BTW I cannot hear any altitude callout is it just me?
-
First off I'm a big fan of TSS but there is always room for improvement...I cannot hear the Landing gear sound I have my engines down to 30% and tried also to edit the sound files and increased the volume by 6db but even that wasn't enough to hear some bumping of the gear doors or any gear handle or hydraulic mechanism beside the omnipresent hydraulic pump.

Thanks! Fantastic news! I really admire your dedication on this project, no money can buy that!

It is true...I tried to be gentler with the throttle and no black out after landing

I noticed that in the "after engine start" checklist it says to put the ext power off and then to put the engine generators on, reading of course from the top to bottom I believe these two items should be inverted. How can I connect the generators if I turn the ext power off? In another checklist "landing" it says yaw damper off...question: How can I disconnect the yaw damper without disengaging the A/P (which is also assigned to my joystick button)?
-
No I don't have custom failures enabled Here is the screenshot still hot...this is before me resetting the generators.
-
If that happens again you will have screenshots

I managed to get familiar with all the manipulators but the VS one is a beast of its own and sometimes cannot get it to work at all mostly if I need to descend, I keep dragging for the whole screen but nothing happens, sometimes it works but I don't know what I just did so I rely only on ias to descend. Can this particular manipulator be a bit more user friendly in the future, do I really have to drag the double arrows for miles and still nothing happens? How is this supposed to work? I also set the user preferences to have the popup for VS but this doesn't really help in this particular case.

I meant that it actually totally replicated the electrical failure

No I'm talking about assigning the condition levers to my joystick. Didn't want to start a new post because this problem has been reported already. The assigning function to the 2 condition levers is done successfully ( the plugin says ASSIGNED) but one of the lever doesn't move when I move the lever on my throttle quadrant.
-
Yes I did a generator reset but it didn't work instantaneously had to wait almost a minute. Will take a screenshot of the overhead panel. There is a curious thing: once I parked the plane I wanted to see the replay of my landing and the blackout happened again in the video at the same time, then when I quit the video my plane was again without electric power and had to reset the generators again.
-
Having again the problem of the 2nd condition lever (right) that is assigned but the lever doesn't move...tried several times, tried reloading gizmo, and ended up reloading the plane, hopefully it will be fixed.

Had the same problem tonight and fixed in the same way...it takes a little off the experience...pretty annoying vacating the runway with no avionics.
