If he bought it in May 23 it *is* a free upgrade. There is a bit of an issue with x-aviation notifications in that if you unsubscribe to general notifications to avoid getting spammed that appears to override any product notifications you still have enabled. I still had product notifications enabled for the 733 but had disabled the generic newsletter/offer notifications and received nothing about the 733. I emailed x-aviation support and they supplied a 100% discount code within 24 hours.

I followed your advice in a recent post and disabled all plugins apart from Gizmo and admin and, apart from one crash, things have definitely improved. I am currently in the process of adding plugins back in. I suspect it's Lua but I don't actually have any Lua scripts enabled and running out of device memory on a 4090 is a bit of worry! I'll attach a log once it crashes again.

I have two VR issues specific to the IXEG 733 currently. One has a workaround but the other is critical. 1) When move my head the IXEG pop-in menu will randomly appear briefly right in front of my eyes. It seems to be related to where the mouse cursor is in the cockpit. If the mouse cursor is within view then it doesn't appear. If the mouse cursor is moved out of view or to the window so it appears at a distance then the menu will appear almost as soon as I start turning my head. I can disable the menu pop-in from the menu preferences as a workaround. 2) If I switch out of VR to 2D mode and then switch back into VR it crashes. Every time. On a typical flight I will be in VR up to cruise then I will typically switch to 2D mode for a while before switching back into VR at TOD so this bug makes the plane pretty unusable for me. Looking at the log file there are *many* VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_DEVICE_MEMORY errors prior to the crash when I switch back to VR.

First flight observations: 1) Engine spool up time. Already discussed here. Great if you want to get away quickly :), not so great if you want realism. 2) I fly mainly in VR. When looking around in the cabin the IXEG pop-in menu will randomly appear right in front of my eyes. It will disappear again as soon as I move my head again but it's quite irritating. 3) Exiting from VR to 2D during the flight and then reentering VR later causes an instant CTD 4) Performance. I am getting about half the framerates in VR that I get with the same settings in XP11. This is not unusual - all planes I have perform worse in XP12 in VR to varying degrees. Relatively, I would say the performance downgrade in the 733 is on the higher end though.

All sorted by X-Aviation support. Turns out that even though I was still subscribed to IXEG Classic product notifications, I had unsubscribed from X-Aviation global notifications which meant that I wasn't getting anything. A bit odd - but resolved quickly.

Nope. Just the original 733 Classic and other planes I have bought. Some upfront detail about how this was going to work would have been helpful. I have emailed X-Aviation but for now I am in the dark.

Apologies if this has already been asked. What is the process for recent customers? I bought the classic last month so that I could have a play in XP11 before the XP12 version was released. If I go to download the new version now it wants me to pay full price again. I have received nothing from X-Aviation. Are recent customers supposed to get a 100% discount code or is there some other process? Peter
