  1. OK 2 more.....
  2. Thanks but this aircraft is really something else. Also this is my first experience with GIZMO.....Very polished product......
  3. To answer your question Tom, we are hoping to implement a procedurally drawn sky in the future. For one the transitions will be seamless in that respect, and also sky colors can be changed via a slider in the UI. Right now we dont have the ability to implement this, but we are hopeful that LR will give us this ability.....
  4. Just for fun: What a wonderful aircraft......
  5. Easy Peter...LOL Aaron, I would really like to see this sky in different views typically seen while using X-Plane. That image you provided above looks really nice but I know and you know the default clouds leave a lot to the imagination. If you came up with a way of working with them, I would be very impressed. You dont have to share trade secrets or anything, but being elusive isn't helping you gain any traction with your efforts.....I guess what I am trying to say is I could produce a screen shot just as nice with default by playing around with views and weather conditions. But showing us what they can do in a natural state will help promote your efforts. I really thing you need to provide a gallery under different conditions to highlight what you are trying to accomplish.......
  6. In a word........YES! And we are very happy about this....
  7. Ok what you are seeing here is we disabled the white out conditions that X-Plane 10 puts forward in these kinds of situations. Its a trade off right now, the white out conditions or as I like to call it "The Grey Screen of Death" isnt a good representation, it actually causes people to crash when hand flying sometimes...... With this being called a trade off, I did notice the transitions myself. It may not be until an update that we will tackle this, but it is an area Id like to improve on..... For now though personally I think it is a better representation of this kind of condition....
  8. Here is a quickie for you to look at:
  9. No, there are performance restraints we must adhere to.....With that said I think I have shown what a wonderful job this add-on does......
  10. Life is too short ; )
  11. Colin look at the last scene on the new redpiper video....
  12. Just kidding everyone this is vaporware.....lol Nah we are waiting on a few minor details and we will start moving forward....
  13. Oh from Redpiper1: More SkyMAXX Pro goodness.......But most important our own X-Plane video expert!
  14. Someone over at AVSIM brought up a good point, what does SkyMAXX look like at altitude here is an image below...taken at 45,000ft:
  15. OK one more....
  16. Ok last one for today, this shows the light-mapping in the cloud layer with lightening storms going down......Storms are set to severe just so you can see how it is integrated into the sim......
  17. I need to wait for payday Just started a new job.....lolz
  18. I think you are a pain in my butt Peter!
  19. Ok another one showing another important aspect of SkyMAXX Pro......yep flying with them...lol This vid shows a few things, gone is the "grey screen of death" and how substantial and realistic the clouds are over the default....
  20. Hey here is a short video showing cloud movement with SkyMAXX Pro. You will notice the cloud rotation effect has been toned down considerably using the UI....
  21. I hope it works out And one just for fun....Peter no stroke around the logo, just for you!
  22. Im not having a problem with XPX staying on uniform weather..... Basically what I do is go to default weather make sure it is set to "uniform"....then I goto the NOAA plugin enable it by clicking on "Enable XPGFS" and "Download Latest Data" I let the plugin generate the weather then click those two options off and close out of the plugin dialog. Next I go into the default weather and it is still set to "Uniform" next I adjust visability. Of course doing this will not allow the weather to automatically update but any real world weather option wont let you change the visibility.....
  23. Ok another interesting shot, to the left you can see how the crepuscular rays interact with the scenery, it adds a more realistic glare to the scene, you can see it extend across the canopy....get your sunglasses on.... And another one:
  24. I think when people get completely comfortable with the new clouds and the UI they will understand how powerful this plugin really is. It is a completely new concept and needs to be approached in a different manner. Especially when deciding on sky colors and cloud settings. <<Side Note>> GA flyers and VFR....We turned of the "Grey Screen Of Death" and in the image above I was weaving through the cloud layers......When flying through a cloud of course visibility is decreased, but only in the cloud puff itself....
  25. I dont have much time to play around today, but here is a nice one I want to share:
