  1. Hi Coop, away from my computer for last few days. Back home tomorrow. No video to take because nothing is moving, so I’ll take a screen shot when I get back. I should mention that the previous version of the S22 series I deleted to reinstall the new update in the hopes that the continuing issue of the engine failing to start despite following standardized starting protocol would have been rectified by the 2.1.1. However, the failure as shown in log.txt prevents finding that out. I’m sure it will all get sorted, especially given that the the 12.1.3 beta x is so screwed up. Thanks for your attention, Coop. I appreciate your response very much. Tony
  2. Sir, I have followed all required installation instructions for this update. Each attempt fails because I am presented with a screen for login credentials which is "frozen," allowing no such input. I'm on a Mac M1 w/ latest Sequoia. I'd sure like to fly the S22 G1000 I've purchased with the hope that the your latest update has "cured" the engine startup issues. TIA, Tony Edit: log attached is the most recent failed attempt. Log.txt
  3. I have the latest build TS SR22 series. After multiple fails to install because of failure to recognize my credentials, I deleted every trace of prior installs via other software, after using the TS option. Reinstalled latest. Loaded as it should have; recognized credentials. Good. However, with throttle at 1/8", a "tap" on fuel boost (sic), no selection for prop in the joystick app, mixture rich. No Start!!! For some reason, the TN version loads with all switches in the "on" position; the flaps do not operate with either mouse selection or Redbird flap switch. Altogether a crummy experience. Please advise. Tony
  4. GerdS, I can speak directly to your issue. I can tell you that RSG panels do not auto adjust to ambient lighting conditions in the space in which the flight sim is setup. E.g., on a recent flight at "night", over a very, very dark landscape and with the lights off in my Sim Room, the glare from RSG PFD/MFD was so bright relative to the real-time/weather on approach into KUNV, I had to shield my eyes from the RSG glare to be able to see the runway to land. I talked with RSG, and its superb support team. I was advised that unless I am on a windows machine with a graphics card that itself provides for changing the illumination on the RSG panels, I'm out of luck. I'm on MacOS. So, is there a way for you to modify the ambient light conditions in the room in which your Sim is located? HTH, Anthony
  5. FWIW, Manny, I follow startup procedures for SR-22. No engine start at all. Anthony Edit: while not applicable to your issue, I found this site and it immediately worked for me. Excellent resource, for me. Perhaps it will help you as well. I hope so. Anthony
  6. ahh yes, the missing setting, I fortuitously discovered to engage those brain systems that, had I done so earlier, I'd've not had to take up bandwidth - brake release failed because I simply did not turn the handle prior to and in accompaniment of pressing it forward. I gotta say that the entire control response of the aircraft is utterly amazingly smooth and precise. I can imagine that with a dedicated Cirrus side-stick it is likely even better than with my Redbird yoke. Kudos to the developers. Anthony
  7. Subject says it all. New download. MacOS Ventura 13.4 MacStudio 32 gig ram. Plane loads, flys beautifully provided I start in the air. I have to do that because brakes do not release if I’m on ramp or end of runway I’ve done several reinstalls. I gotta be missing some setting. Any input I’d be grateful for. Anthony
