  6. okay, i wanted the sides of my jetways to have that bump feel, i also wanted specular maps because i like some parts of my jetway to have the shiny scratchy look.... also its for X-Plane 9 so the specular mapping is based on the normal mapping transparency
  7. KMDW updates will now not be frequent due to lack of interest. still, enjoy the previews!

Well... the topic seemed to be more quieter than usual, most of the post now is my updates... so i presumed theres no much interest anymore, of course i will continue to develop KMDW, but i think KMDW is not the best choice because of Butnaru's great KMDW already out there and I'm just re-inventing the wheel...

  11. i decided, after all my posts and updates on X-KMDW less and less people are getting interested and tuned to the updates, probably because there is already a good KMDW out there by Butnaru so I'll let you guys decide what airport should we do next so to suit your wants.

Hello people, i wanted to ask any member here who know how to make "plausible" normal and specular maps for my scenery, whoever is up for the job will of course get an early copy of X-KMDW thus all betas of the scenery before releases. "currently ripping my hair in trying to make the bump map and specular map stand out more... (failed)"

  14. night lighting of course, the jetway lit is still a WIP and everything else so don't worry, its not final yet!
  15. so i have been working on the ground textures for awhile and the result is pretty good, i just need to add more of a worn out look on the taxiway, and add runway markings, and add grass decals in v9 using .pols...after doing all those i will start with modelling other facilities, plus do something that will make the airport feel active

  17. i asked him earlier, about the same question, he gave me a great answer! -google well, i extensively searched around, but i cant find anything, and even i trie to download GLSL shader samples and tried to implement it to x-plane...i failed i wanted this kind of things so my windows in my airport buildings can be reflective..... maybe his reply was like that because he wanted to keep it a secret? like KFC's secret recipe
  18. thanks Kaphias, i have updated the ground markings, the lines are thinner and the resolution is sharper- and the terminal area itself as well also, the terminal itself has been lowered, the height is pretty off the scale, as well the gates are also modified so it will have a wider spacing between the walls of the walkway... actually, that doesn't make sense so let the pictures do the talking
  19. well...i sorta slacked out abit... so nothing new, but some more texture manipulations as you can see here (yes that dirt is ugly) tomorrow i will try to force myself into modelling again <3
  20. 30 rupees.... 2 jobs-> -sleep -eat yes its not that hard, but you're lucky not many people get to do that you should work more on those you know....maybe 60 rupees!

  23. no i mean if you look at the top of the nose the shaper should be more pointy, or maybe im worng....actually i am wrong
  24. Looking good! Just go easy on the polys also the top view shows that the nose is more rounded then it should be, I THINK that the shape should be more thinner and pointy (just a bit)
