  1. Mirabel, Quebec. CYMX just to the north of Montreal. Scenery is available on the .org IIRC
  2. Very glad to hear you say that . Out of curiosity, which flights have you taken her on? Myself I flew Zurich to Paris, and Toronto to Newark this morning.
  3. Again, The donation to Gizmo goes to support the future development of that excellent plugin. I encourage everyone to donate to it. HOWEVER, it is not required to operate the Dash, simply close the prompt after the set time it stays open for and you will be good to go. Again, I strongly encourage a donation to the Gizmo project, but it is NOT required.
  4. I'll see if we can try to get the tax info spelled out clearer at the order page. Thank you for the feedback.
  5. Kesomir, I just checked the store and it displays the right price for me. Sometimes you need to close out completely from the store to get the changes. It should be good now, but if you are still seeing the wrong price please let me know Cheers Joe
  6. Everyone who already bought it is receiving the coupon credited back to their credit card. You should have received an email from us already. If not please let us know. Cheers Joe
  7. Just thought I'd let everyone know that our support forums are online! http://forums.armchairaviation.com/
  8. I'm very much looking forward to reviewing this aircraft over at Armchair Aviation.
  9. If your graphics card is having trouble, we have included lo res textures for each included livery.
  10. Gizmo controls everything that the real life Q400 pilot requires that X-Plane cannot simulate properly, as outlined in our manual. We mostly use it for Systems depth, among other uses. Our manual covers everything pertinent to this simulation of the Q400, and will be regularly updated as we update the plane.
  11. So Anyone interested in reading something about the Dash? http://armchairaviation.com/Store/manualStorage/FJS-Dash_8_Q400_Manual.pdf
  12. Ben, Your points are well taken. There is certainly no 'entitled little shit' attitude here. Such are the issues communicating using only text.
  13. Ok I'll keep my questions to myself then.
  14. Wow Ben, Having a bad day? The answer for all products has NOT been no, as demonstrated by the SAAB. (Goran decided to try to release the manual early, but it appears has not been able to based on specific issues.) Further to that Javier JUST said he had them done. If they are DONE as he said, then there should be no issues (that I can see) that prevent the release. No harm in asking, even if the answer is no.
  15. No doubt. Releasing the manuals ahead of time gives us all a chance to study so we are not sitting with a lovely plane reading manuals when we could be flying, as I am sure you are perfectly aware .
  16. Javier, I note that you said you have the main manuals done, Any chance for an early release of them so we can study/Print them beforehand? I can assure you that even just the two would be very appreciated. (I have studied the material at Smart Cockpit but would like the differences training and to see what to expect from yours) I am very excited, and when it's released have a glass of the bubbly from me! Cheers Joe
  17. Very excited to hear we are so close
  18. That's weird. The Dash has VNAV and no ATHR. I'm not complaining mind, I'm sure you know what is in the CRJ better than I, but lack of ATHR does not mean lack of VNAV.
  19. How many times are people going to ask if it's free or not... . Yes it's payware.
  20. Figured as much. Next time I talk to someone at Jazz I'll ask about the RNAV approaches. (their dispatch is at the other side of the airport from ours) It might be that they have a different FMC or software patch to do this, or else the crew was mistaken ( I hope not) or I am mis remembering. Though it would seem weird for the CRJ to not be able to do what a Dash 8 can. (Though they do have a separate avionics package.)
  21. NDB Approaches in Canada are all expected to be decommissioned by the end of 2012 here. All non precision approaches are being replaced by RNAV or LOC approaches. Back Course approaches are no longer authorised, and are being replaced with LOC or ILS approaches. By 2015 the goal is to have only ILS, LOC or RNAV approaches. No more VOR or NDB. The Jazz Pilots I spoke to said they could fly the GNSS/RNAV approaches, but I happened to be on the 705's when I asked so it might not apply to the 200, even though they supposedly have a common type rating.
  22. Interesting. As far as I am aware at Jazz GPS/RNAV is used frequently, as it is often the only type of instrument approach available in Canada these days. Perhaps they have an Ops Spec for it that you dont.
  23. Will RNAV approaches be implemented?
  24. Eric, Flying this scenery in the Dutchess has more than ever made me want to get my PPL. Great work. I am very much looking forward to more of your work. (Would put in a request for BC and Washington State to go with Tom's Scenery
