You sure you didn't miss the section about the starter isolation switch? Manual page 2-4, first sentence.

tldr; It wasn't that (details below) but for simplicity sake I'll simply say, IT'S FIXED! Steps: Uninstalled Islander v1.0.1 Made sure the entire aircraft folder was deleted Re-installed Islander v1.0.1 Downloaded the AFM G5 Islander patch from here. Installed the patch per the instructions on their site. Started a new flight using the BN-2B-26 Islander G5 Registered the aircraft Tested the G5. Looks great! I've been working through a G5 issue over in this thread. I just uploaded some screen shots of the issue occurring. With the help of @airwar it is now resolved.

Ah, gotcha! I missed that. OK, so that definitely loads the G5 in the cockpit. However, the screens are black. Instead, the display of the G5 PFD shows up on the transponder (all cut up and glitched) and the display of the G5 DG/HSI shows up on the chronometer (just a very small portion of it appears). Sounds like other people are having issues with the G5. A new thread was started by someone and it also looks like it was mentioned in the pinned 1.0.1 update thread.

@airwar here is an image of the Islander cockpit. As you can see, no G5. Not sure what you mean by "G5 cockpit".

I have the same issue as @Tassierob and have done the steps outlined by @airwar multiple times, without luck. I did download the patch from here. As stated by @Tassierob, you can toggle the G5 with a hotkey in the sim. You just cannot get the G5 to display in the cockpit.
