for now when i find a parking where I cannot turn, I manually rotate 180° the plane in the local map menu. -

other.. try... You have the same problem loading the plane with engines running or not? Also.. did you try the 1.03 version in 10.11? and 10.20 beta 32 bits? if not try please. -

of course. 32bits and 64bits tested. Also I am not hearing anyone with this problem, and there are already a few that they downloaded it and installed it. As said in manual from 1.0 version the mixture axis is deleted in the plane when loaded. The Prop is deleted since 1.01 as you can read in addendum. The funny thing is what is making to remove your throttle and assign to other axis. I don't have any idea. I am not in front of you computer to try things. The only way I know is try, try, try stupid things... try until see something. could be because my 1.03 and in a very particular case? Yes.. of course it could.. but I cannot reproduce it,.. and others seems don't have this problem (will wait to next days to see what happens with other people). But until I don't find a way to reproduce a problem, normally I cannot fix it. As said my 1.03 version works in 32bits and 64bits in 10.20 beta 11. in 32bits in 10.11, and of course in 9.70. No problem you describe found. But also I have another computer with windows and mac installed. No problem And a laptop.. no problem. So I don't know what to do for your now... The only I suggest you if you want to fly in 64bits is use the joystick in green menu.. so you will be able to use it. Then when you want to close xplane, AGAIN PUT THE JOYSTICK MENU IN ORANGE. Then LOAD OTHER PLANE so you would have your axis back. For now is the only I can say to you about this problem. For me (for now) seems a problem with your configuration. connecting the joystick to other usb port does make any difference? You can download again the plane in case anything is corrupt.. (I doubt it).... Don't know what to tell you more to try... If I find an idea I will tell you. -

Yes.. yes.. I see it but I don't see it. What I mean is I see you have a problem.. but I cannot reproduce it. As said also with the propeller axis and mixture.. as the throttle.. nothing is lost when changing to other plane. If you follow the instructions correctly as the manual says there is no problem. At least in my computer with 1.03. No other user reported anything about this (and believe me when something goes wrong users run to type!!! but when everything goes smooth they just fly) So for now I don't know what to say you but, there is a conflict inside your system that is making the issue. Do you have another computer? A laptop to try? -

Ok.. so as you say: 1. Other axis (the one that you apply to speedbrakes) works with throttle in the plane.. AHAAAAA!! OK.. good good.. going good. Can you try to set your hardware throttle to the yaw of the plane to see if it works? or other function different than the Throttle of the plane? The prop will be lost if was lost already. If you load it from other plane working.. and exit the jetstream to another plane loading, you will have it there. -

Japo32 replied to woweezowee's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
make enough sense to test. Please try with your speedbrakes hardware axis to see if you can control with that rotary (or what it is) the throttle. The propeller was "lost" since 1.01. I deleted the hardware asignation because I needed inside the plugin to make it work. Right now I have just tested the 1.03 in 10.11 32bits and 10.20 beta 11 No problems at all. If I don't find the problem in my computer I cannot solve it because there is no problem. I think (maybe I am wrong, but my experience with the CRJ200 tells me that) that there is something in your configuration that is affecting your Throttle. Maybe the joy.. maybe other hardware... who knows.. but I don't have your computer here to try. You are the one that have to do it, Do you have other joystick to try? Please assign even in yours any other axis rotary or handle you have, even if it has no sense to you. It is just try and discard posible problems. For example.. if it is working in other axis, then the problem is in the joy or something... -

About the memory and 32 bits... there is no problem using it. All we have 3.5gb in 32 bits (if we have 4gb at least) and I for example, am using the full resolution textures with 32 bits without problem. The size of the textures comes to the memory of the video card.. not the system memory. -

But why no other user has this problem? Can you use it with the option of joystick in green? At least if you can there... As said I don't find the problem in my computers.... did you delete preferences? I am not doing anything special in the axis in this 1.03. Only when the button of joy-green is pressed in menu. Can you try to asign other axis to the throttle to see if it is working or not? -

but, did you have the previous versions of the Jetstream? could you try? Cameron could you please send him a 1.01 version to let him try? I think for now (unless other people still didn't try) it is only you that is having the issue. I don't find any problem with the throttle or other axis assignation. And the plane was tested (the 1.02 version but the 1.03 is only changing little things) with no issue like that.... The first I think is, that is because your system. But please try that 1.01 version please when Cameron send you (or if you have it) -

Did it work correctly in other versions (1.01?, 1.0?) I have no problem with the throttles in my computer. can you reset the preferences and try? Also try in a fresh demo of xplane? No plugin installed but just the jetstream? also try to press the label "power" in the pedestal. It will disable the joystick assignation so you can control it with mouse, keys or manipulators. Try it. -

Mmm I do not supply any plugin to control hardware. I only let the modification of datarefs in radios, so the user has to have the hardware good with any other airplane. It is easy to test. With Datarefs editor and the new "radio hardware" now you can change the number. Before not. About the duplicate of throttles.. Yes.. I had that before.. but was not because the plane... .. but I don't remember right now why it was... I suggest you to give all the axis a none assignation and then assign then all in other plane. Load the Jetstream and try it (of course after unlock the controls locker) I think I remember something about dual configuration.. Was because I was loading same xplane in windows and mac so each one made different asignations but preserve the old one.. I think.. maybe..... If I remember I will tell you. -
BAe Jetstream 32 Version 1.03 Update Released!
Japo32 replied to Cameron's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
Well.. a change in a future 10.20 beta could break the 64bits plugin? yes.. that is possible, but that would take it to the same level it was already. To the 32bits. People would still be able to fly with it in 32bits (hope nothing breaks the plugin!! I think beta 11 was a very important change) Yes.. the plane is still flyable in 10.11 and always recomend to fly it in 10.11 because 10.20 betas can produce crashes that maybe are not becasue the plane but the main program. Hope the hardware guys enjoy now to manage the radios! -
[SOLVED 1.03] Different weather view from cockpit windows

yes.. I saw it in 1.02 and is fixed in 1.03. Cameron will release the 1.03 soon. -
for crj-200 possible accept plugin for use air track 3.5?
Japo32 replied to the_papy's topic in Canadair CRJ-200
well.. the control of the radios as the jetstream is done by programming if I don't remember bad (In the jetstream I made the programming but in the CRJ200 Philipp did, so he knows better than me). So to allow it if programming is controlling the radios, only changing the programming could solve it. Better Philipp to reply this one. -
The plugin of the mentor is very simple. Only controls radios and 2 more things. Even because I work inside of Laminar I have fast support, so I decided to make the jump in beta 11, that seems to be the red line in 64 bits.

very very low FPS in some areas of cabin
Japo32 replied to Josf's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
Yes, you have to lower your texture settings. You are having too much load of textures. Enviado desde mi GT-I9300 usando Tapatalk 2 -

[SOLVED 1.03] Different weather view from cockpit windows
Japo32 replied to chaps's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
Of course is not real reflection. in 3D engines all are tricks. If they weren't you would have 1-2 fps. The only way to make a smooth ice transition in X-Plane is with a LIT texture that is self illuminated. Or have it or not.. and I preffer to have it. It is self illuminated so that is why you see it more white.. but I have to say that for me the ice always is more reflective.. and reflections comes from inside the cockpit light.. but anyway.. this is a 3D engine and not the real world. In future if the engines give me more tools I will make the perfect ice. I leaved the ice conditions in some windows because that will force you to abandon ice situations. Not fly them for ever. So once you see ice formation, leave those clouds away. I would do that in real life. The purpose of the icing windows are not to be perfect.. but not to let you see through them.. and I like it how it is done. Of course if you don't like it, you can deactivate the ice windows in planemaker, but you would loose all icing conditions in the windows, that would be shame. This is not a bug or a graphic issue. It is the final version of Ice.... but as said, if you don't like it, 0. Make a backup of your acf file. 1. open the plane in planemaker 2. go to misc objects menu, in standards top menu. 3. Find the OBJ called "Hielo.OBJ" 4. hit the button near it called "clear" 5. hit the "x" icon in the top of the window 6. save the plane, in menu "file" you won't have more icing on the windows. -

incompatibility with Saitek Panels
Japo32 replied to Belga's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
the only hardware I have (that is enough for me) is the magnificent VRInsight MCP boeing combo2. I made it work with this new update.. but I cannot swap frequencies. But this is not a problem of the jetstream.. is something every plane I have in xplane. I don't know how to fix it for me, because I would like to make active the frequencies that I had tuned before in pasive one. I installed the XPFUIPC but don't work the change. -
[SOLVED 1.03] Different weather view from cockpit windows
Japo32 replied to chaps's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
4 seasons in 1 day!! lol! No.. hehe.. what you are seeing in correct. only the pilot anc copilot sides in this simulated plane has the radiators so they only can be de-iced. What you are seeing is the reflections of the internal cockpit light over the iced windows, that are the sides and center ones. The pilot and copilot ones because are deiced shows what is normal, the night outside. -
with track ir no hand with mouse..
Japo32 replied to the_papy's topic in British Aerospace Jetstream 32
The RPM cannot be assigned to the Joystick as an axis. Is something that can break the programming of the plane. The use is made with the mouse and the pilot not have to change it during all flight. It has to be in "Flight" position all the time, and in "Taxi" during the ground part. About the trackir and camera position. With the arrow keys you can move the camera position. But I recomend you to use pilot view plugin. To open the cabin door you can use one of the options in the yoke menu. Better than go to the rear ot the cabin to activate the switch. -
