well Tom... if yesterday was working and not today the CRJ didn't change at all.. so something was done inside your computer to make it not work. It cannot work once and then break the working. A rule.. is.. if once worked.. then it should work again. Maybe it is time to install another clear demo of x-plane.. and try it.. WITHOUT any plugin or HARDWARE. Also without other airplanes around and 1 (maximum 2) solution of flight number.

Hello all!! I have seen something very very very interesting...... I found a way to have a CTD even sometimes with just loading... All that are having CTD can take a look over the menu Aircraft/aircraft & situations to see how many planes you have in other aircraft selection? If you have more than 1, set it in 1 (I don't know if it can be set to cero.. if so.. set to cero) Also inside settings / operations & warnings... number inside flight model? set it to 1. please.. and test (inside demo version of xplane. Clean.. no other plugins please) Thanks!

Ok.. I believe to install 1.1 version is not necesary to first install the 1.0 version. Only 1.1 version will work. Another thing.. for more testings I recomend you this: 1. Donwload demo version of xplane 9.69 with that clean install... 2. install 1.1 version without installing 1.0 3. make a flight in your airports you usually use.. even with water arround. 4. use the squadbox plugin.. with that demo.. and tell us. Ok.. I have found something. I put 20 traffic around and had a CTD Well normal when I don't have enough memory in this computer.. so this is also because the CRJ because the CRJ uses lots of memory. So I could say.. (in other planes doesn't happen this). Try to fly online without ia planes (put other planes to only yours). I know that is not good flying online.. but fly in an airport that hasn't got any traffic.. Or even put 3 or so only to view.

here loaded the xquadbox but not connected (because I don't have user).. and no issue. running without problem. Not only that.. but also Ivao one. Please Tom report also issue to squadbox team. Thanks. We can both help each other.

I believe this happens Tom becuase you are messing with 1.0 version and 1.1 version. Did you say that you installed again 1.0 version over 1.1 version? the 1.0 version does not delete the 1.1 it has to be deleted by hand. We can guide you.. but this problem you have seems to be because the MESSSSSSSSSSS you have in your computer. if you delete any folder.. or move them.. or install 1.0 version over 1.1 you make all crash.

Also I want to ask...... did you have the fms working in the 1.1 version anytime? if so.. what did you do to make it black??????

Another 1 hour testing with mac.. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.. ok.. I please ask you all to do this: Test the 1.1 version flying all time you can whatever direction you want inside x-plane 9.69 demo version.. NO PLUGIN ADDED. only 1.1 version please. also try to resolve the font issue as said by Philipp in the first replies. this post if you have tested this already both things (added.. not separatelly.. all over the clean demo version) then you don't need to do it again. BUT IF someone did it and report still CTD.. DOESN'T MEAN it will behave the same on the computer of the person that didn't try. Every configuration is different... and NOT ALL MAC version are having this issue.. so I again think there is something between the 1.1 version and your system.. because I CANNOT MAKE IT CRASH in my Mac.. with activation the same you all have. I repeat.. that still 1.0 version is over there.. and for some of your works better than this 1.1 version, so you can still use it, or ask Cameron to send it to you. Thanks! PD: by the way. the OHP texture didn't change at all. switch off flood light and use backtext light. Not both same time. You will read better. About other stuff.. we are testing it. look.. this remember me the ATR from flight1.... they had lots of CTD.. even me.. but at the end they fix them.. and stil is the best plane I have from fs9. Hope we can fix those problems.

Tom, I cannot give you a link to download because that is stuff from X-Avitation. X-Aviation support installing, downloading and activation. Philipp support plugin and programming issues. And I support graphical ones.. but because sometimes not all are online (and now Philipp cannot be online for some little time) then I try to organize and test myself to send more info to Philipp internally. You can send the crash-log.txt when you have a crash. If the plane or x-plane didn't CTD then no crash-log.txt will be generated.. and if there is one already there maybe is one of an old CTD issue. The best you can do when you want test and have those logs texts, is to delete both if you have them. They will be generated automatically. BUT again the damm plugins!!! I bet that 97% off all these problems the CRJ has are because modified files by users, predeleted files before installs..... I am not saying that all the issues are because computer users.. but yes a lot of them. I am trying to reproduce the CTD and I CAN'T!!! I CAN'T with clean installs.. Soon will come with external plugins. cheers,

yes.. it seems problems with activation. X-Aviation will work with that. Here I am testing.. hours and hours inside Mac.. and I don't find any problem!!!!!! because of that is VEEEEERY IMPORTANT your log.txt and crash-log.txt files!!!

I have checked the animation of the switch in blender, and it is ok.. sim/cockpit2/ice/ice_surfce_heat_on with only two keyframes in rotation.. not translation (that is what happens when you set a key in tranlation).. well.. will take a closer look at this one. Ok.. I repeat again. We are not soothsayers. We need the log.txt and crash-log.txt it is always the same? 100% everytime you do that it CTD? log.txt and crash-log.txt please. If we don't have those two files, we cannot solve these CTD problems. Thanks!

Simon. We think still there is more to do inside your computer to try to make it work. Even you already make it work perfectly through some tedious process you make desinstalling and installing again. That proofs that it is not an issue of the plane but something inside your configuration, that is the culprit of it. Because we think that can be fixed (formating computer, buying a new computer...) then we need you first end some of the testings. For example please un install all c++ versions you have. Then try your 1.0 copy in another computer you can have access. Still it has been 2.5 weeks from the release of the plane and is too soon to ask for a refund when not all posibilities have been found. Of course if a usser finds that the culprit of not been able to fly the plane is really because the CRJ that usser will be refunded. But first of all he has to give us the posibility to fix it. In your case Simon it seems clearly is because your computer, and if we refund you, then we should do to everyone with problems in their systems and not the plane. I ask you to continue doing those things needed to be done to verify your computer is not ok. Sorry for the inconvenience Simon and I am sure you will make it work.

Thanks for your testings. I have said Cameron those new people that have this mac issue send them the 1.0 if they buyed the plane in the 1.1 so they can fly it. We need your log.txt and crash-log.txt files. If not Philipp (that maybe it will take a time before he replies this time) won't be able to find the issue. Thanks PD: I would like to know why you had so many copies of vascore folders. That should no happen. Only a Vascore folder should be inside resources/plugins.

Third test, with activation the same as I were a costumer. No CTD in 45 minutes.. just leaving the plane in platform with engines running. I would like to know if there are Mac users that fly the plane long enough and don't have any issue. Thanks

In you case is not a big deal.. but in other users like kesomir that needs the plugins for flying online are not that easy. BUT mabye those that created those plugins can give us solutions also. x737 offered me to solve any problem of compatibility with the CRJ. Seems that we don't need it this time (cross fingers!!)

Well.. when you come to the other side you will see how it is not easy to make things... But.. mmmmm.. delete boot.ini from your HDD if you have windows.. you will see how delicate is also microsoft. These things happens... but you know now that you have not to play with del fucntion inside SIDs and STARs.. thanks for making our product stronger in future!!
