  1. Again here!!!
  2. Well... I am going to be out until 12 July. The place I am going is on montain so I think I won't have any internet conection maybe. I have a mobile conection possibility but don't trust is too much. I have put an message on the main page of www.jrollon.com page to tell about it, so if you want to buy the Javelin and you don't want to wait 'til Sunday, buy it on x-aviation.com best!!
  3. Sooooo close.. sooo close!!! I will see if I can release before August. Just few little thing to touch.. and make a video (will enjoy it!!!)
  4. Yes!! of course I will release a Paint Template to paint over it on photoshop or other program that can read PSD things. Even I can release a JPG file to paint over it. It is better a PSD because the mix layers are there and if you paint a flat colour on a new layer you will see it darkering or lighting over the fuselage because predefined layers (shadows, dirt.. etc...)
  5. I want to put that GPS inside a 3D geometry. But I don't know how I have to. I have to find info about it. I think Tom did it on the MU-2
  6. Thanks!! Well..the texturing is almost finishing.. and then I will export on x-plane (I have exported to see fps and other things.. but don't put screens because the Smothing groups are bad always I export into and have to be fixed). This is the panel of the Seamax. Well.. one of them. I chose this configuration because I like "clocks" and old way of flying. This is a VFR only configuration. On the future I will implement an GPS, but I consider that the GPS is not fun for me to fly, because I am more seeing the GPS and flying in lines, than looking outside... and now in x-plane is possible with a map to look outside with the mountains, rivers and roads (with openstreets plugin) to make it possible to do. But of course I will implement a GPS on a close future after the release and for free on the update. This is the Screenshot of the 3D program. It will be seen almost the same on the x-plane simulator.. or even better...
  7. Ok... I have seen that x-plane can eat polygons very very good. My CRJ-200 is 40.000 polygons, and it gives me really good FPS. Even I saw the Yak-40 free new plane with new avionics systems.. and saw that it was 15 fps bellow the CRJ. That is because plugins, but not because polygons or textures. So you can use a great amount of polys. of course you have to use them well. This is still a "game" not a rendering software. So.. every corner you have there on the cockpit it would be interesting to make it a little bit chamfer on them. That would give the model a more realistic and "organic" looking. going well. Wellcome to the hell of building planes in 3D. THE NIGHTMARE OF THE COCKPITS!!!! hahaha
  8. the Texturing process is going very fast. this screens are from 3D program and will be seen the same on x-plane 9.30
  9. Yes... I really wanted to make an airplane to make bush flying and move over Canada and Alaska, to discover those lands!!!
  10. Now the model is finished.. Now time to make that texture I talked before...
  11. The way I use to unwrap textures is always the same.. I cut them, and relax them. When I relax them I look very close to the pixel aspect ratio so a circle on the texture will be a circle on the model. BUT.. sometimes this is imposible to have, because I have to compress al the model on a square very compressed. Don't misunderstand my "compress" I never break the pixel ratio so never scale non proportional a model on the texture unwrapping, but when applying a relax there is always a low number of polygons that will stress the pixel because I preffer now to make a "cut" with bigger pieces to make easier to the painters to paint them. anyway... for future painters.. If you have photoshop CS4 or Bodypaint 3D, you can paint in 3D without any problem. I usually paint the stripes on those programs.. and then make normal colour on standard photoshop, gimp.. or whatever.
  12. That won't happen, because if you see the youtube video, then you can see the landing gear is lowered on watter.. No problem with that. Other thing is if it is waterlanding with it lowered.. I don't know if it could handdle the pressure over the landing gears...
  13. yes, sure... just send me a private message with the e-mail you used to buy it, thanks!
  14. Yes.. that is only a perspective view trick.
  15. The external model is finished (still texture to apply, but this time I am going to build all the geometry first. The 3D cockpit next week)
  16. You have an e-mail with the access information to download the 1.2 path. As soon as the 9.30 is final I will make a 1.3 patch (an easy one, on the future I will implement more things on the Javelin. Of course for free.. Until the end of 9 version of x-plane)
  17. Yes , but really cheap. As the Javelin or lower price.
  18. hehe... not so many dirty because there is water around!!!
  19. Hi!!! Because now I am stopped with the creation of the CRJ, because is on the queue for programming, I decided to start a little project, that I think it will be ready before the CRJ. That type of planes I like them most!! and a few months ago I decided that I would like to make a seaplane. Looking over internet I found this little beauty and wrote the developer of the real plane. He was very kind and answered me sending info that is making me possible to build it. Now the flight model is working and building the obj fuselage. I can show you this renders.. to start with my 4th baby!
  20. No problem about your english.. I am spanish.. so the same problem right here!! hehehe. When the plane is on sale, for sure you can buy in euros. or yens.. or whatever.. The program makes the translates the amount of money from Dollars to Euros or whatever. Is like my Javelin. Lots of people from USA buy it on Dollars and no problem. The only problem is that the price is in Euros and "always" will be the same but in other currency depends on the financial market... so maybe is very cheap for a country and in other is very very expensive. I think there should be a way to solve that. Depending on the country you live, a diferent price. But the trick is always to make think the computer you are from the cheapest country.
  21. Thanks Gilbenl.. hehe.. Well, the thing is lots of poeple comes behing pushing hard, and in the next months you will see projects very very very good that will make x-plane, bigger and bigger, and of course the cake is too big, so everyone will have their piece of it. Free ones and vendors ones. Concerning me, starting in building planes and selling a product, I have a weak point. Programming. So X-Aviation will do that part for me, but in the future I would like to learn to program (I think never would say that ;D) because I think is very interesting for me. But that takes time.
  22. Don't worry. There are several solutions for optimizing the plane. But The plane right now has less polygons than the MU-2 so, there won't be any problem. On the 8800 gts (320mb) I had 40 fps, On a gtx285 I have over 70 or so (Q6600) but Cameron has 100 fps. X-plane is really well built.
  23. Yes!! that is my intention from the begging working on the cabin. If the pilot press the smoking or belt switch then the ligth iluminates or not on the cabin. Is easy to do and very nice to see. The texturing of the main cabin is almost done (just 2 or 3 days more) I will post a picture when ready.
  24. I corrected some specular and brightness of the plane.. Now is white!! and is spectacular how the bright goes through the plane!!!. This is a shot taken without any retouching (none at all) from x-plane 9.30 b9:
