  1. Not too much, just the overhead
  2. Leechmountain -> translate to german
  3. WOW guys, hats off for this! I wrote dissertation back in school about the 733's A/T system, and know how complex system it is. Can't wait to actually FLY the lady
  4. As a side project next to the Let L-410, I've started a little scenery project. Hint: leechmountain Nevermind the runway and taxiways, i'm at the beginning of work, but I will not give the quality below ORBX (And of course, will be freeware)
  5. Thanks guys and thanks Philipp for detailed info. Too bad it can't be easily programmed in xplane... So, in that case i'll put a weather radar / nav overlay to this display in the L-410. For me It seem to be an acceptable compromise, if you guys agree
  6. Hey I found in some of L-410 an instrument which I can't recognize. Could you help me please if you recognize it? Thanks
  7. My Precious begins to shape up like a real plane There are a few little things that will likely be modified while texturing, or re-do it, but they are really small things - most switches, knobs, smaller thingy. The overhead panel follows. At first glance it does not seem much of a bite. Mass of switches in a few rows. There are three types of switches, so they should not be a problem. When the overhead is ready, next are the pedals, seats, fans, sun visors - so all the "things" which is found in any cockpit. Finally, the arrangement of walls and window frames refinement.
  8. see in 3760 x 3240 resolution (1.4Mbytes!)
  9. Anyway, afaik the win and linux xplane are almost equal, excelpt the root xplane folders content. Make a backup, then download the linux demo and copy all files (but not the directories!) from there to windows version xplane. Also copy Resources/plugins/*.so files to win version. After that, run installer/updater on both win and linux. It should recognize from there.
  10. I've installed x-plane (linux) to a NTFS partition, installed all the sceneries Rebooted to windows, downloaded the updater(!) and there I choosen the x-plane forder where I installed previously. The updater recognized it's an xplane folder, but all the exe/dll files are missing -> downloaded -> it's ready for flying Should work the other way too.
  11. Result of a sleepless night (caused by 35°C)
  12. ... and the right side:
  13. Left part of instrument panel:
  14. ...did you notice the broken cover?
  15. Thanks Getting addicted to 3D work again...
  16. I just realized how relaxing to do some 3D after a loooong day
  17. When she's ready Working on the internal now, then texturing it. Maybe a month, maybe two, don't know really. After that comes the plugin - as much systems modeled as I can. If I'm optimist, it's about 2-3 months. If not, maybe a year.
  18. I mean you only turn on a video capture program for about a half an hour then you post it somewhere. No instructions needed, just see how you working. If it's too "intimate" or, "personal", I understand: there are lot of information in your workflow - as in everybody's if you're are on top what you're doing (I don't meant to be pushy )
  19. Really impressive. Grats! But... how the hell can you make these textures so real? Looks like those are not photograph based, but partly hand drawn and partly generated (eg. shadows) by the 3DMax. Aren't you thinking about making a half an hour video while you just working on this thing? Even I could pay for this kind of "video tutorial"
  20. He told me the story: Have to change the whole lower-right wing. They put a "socks" like thing to the exhaust to prevent body from soot coming from exhaust. The sock filled with oil over several starts and was enough to get on fire, than what proceed to the wing. So basically it was about to protect body from some soot from the exhaust... eh...
  21. Yep, seen that, too bad. One of my friends works at the airport, asked what happened
