  1. Four hours intensive photoshop, in the name of "how to make things used and dirty like you don't even want to touch it"
  2. Do they released the passenger, or still sitting in that chair?
  3. Thanks for asking and the info! I'm waiting (im)patiently for the new export script
  4. Another little update: v1.2 * Fixed crash on 4.1.2 tablets * Added "Stay Awake" checkbox to setting to prevent from sleeping the phone while using checklist
  5. Thanks for the info Tom! These days I'm getting closer and closer to animating cockpit objects on L-410, but still not decided which export script will I use. Maybe try out both and see which is more reliable. Back, when done exterior animations, 2.6 scripts was much more unrealibe. Any chance of releasing Laminars scripts and let the community figure out how to use and let them make tutorials?
  6. Finished with pedestal panel UV mapping. Realized again how much I don't know about 3D work in general Had to re-learn little trick to make UV map acceptable quality and prepared for Photoshop use. Now comes the texturing part, which I more like than the UV mapping
  7. v1.1 * Added "Clear" function to list * Added Settings for displaying list items (All / Just selected) It can take several hours until it is available throughout Google Play.
  8. Hi, I've just put together a little checklister android app for CRJ-200 Here you can download: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hu.xplane.crj200 Or here is a QR code for easy install: Hope you like it
  9. Totally understand. Will try to find out what causes the problem on gentoo, what are the differences between the two systems. I have an idea that ubuntu uses GCC >=4.6, but on gentoo stable, the latest version is 4.5.4. I'll upgrade my system to 4.6 and let you know if that solved it. (On Windows: It was a windows partititon before, that's why the mount name suggest it's a windows, but nowadays I'm using win only in virtualbox ) Thanks, Mihaly
  10. Hi! Just purchased CRJ (1.5.1) and this patch did not solved plugin loading problem. My system: uname -a Linux szamoca 3.3.8-gentoo #2 SMP Thu Jul 5 16:17:07 CEST 2012 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux Error when trying to start with the shipped xpl: dlerror:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.4/32/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by /mnt/win/h/XPlane10/Aircraft/X-Aviation/CRJ-200/plugins/CRJAvionics/lin.xpl) Deleted fontconfig folder contents, then took a second try with attached zip's liblinux folder+lin.xpl. Xplane crashed: 0:00:25.551 I/ACF: Loading airplane number 0 with Aircraft/X-Aviation/CRJ-200/CRJ200.acf Fetching plugins for /mnt/win/h/XPlane10/Aircraft/X-Aviation/CRJ-200/plugins --=={This application has crashed because of a PLUGIN!}==-- (no crash_log.txt was created, Data.txt and Cycle Dump.txt's are both empty) Copied over liblinux-Ubuntu folder and tried again, then same error as above. emul-linux-x86-sdl and openal packages are installed [I] app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-sdl Installed versions: 20120520-r1 [I] media-libs/openal Installed versions: 1.13 Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  11. The original readme wasn't contains any CC license, just the copyright of textures, 3d model, sounds, etc. Thanks for clarification, I was expecting and afraid this kind of answer.
  12. Hey guys, A friend of mine was successfully converted an FSX plane, just for fun and for own use. But, he'd like to share the plane with the community (freeware as per the original plane was that too). He tried to contact the author of the plane, but without any luck (FB, email, twitter). He asked me to ask you, what can he do in this case. The plane was modified last at Jan. 2008, so it was almost 5 years ago. Is there any general regulatios/unwritten rule for this? In last case he releases the plane and tells in readme there is no written permission from the author of the plane, and includes the original copyright text from readme. Is that a viable option? Thanks!
  13. @topic starter: Are those little differences really matter? There are LOT of little differences in EVERY x-plane plane. Even in payware. Why? Because it's almost impossible to develop a plane if you don't have the right sources. And in right sources I mean really high quality blueprints and/or CAD-like drawings. Like my Let L-410. It's built from very poor quality blueprints, mostly based on pictures. Hundreds of hours comparing to pictures from different angles. It's really not as real as I'd like to see, but there is a point where you have to stop and say: "ok, from this, it's not worth the hours I put in, so I move on". I think this plane worth every cent and you have to live with these little differences (Sorry for poor english )
  14. Just some small improvement: seats, pedals, steering "wheel"
  15. Just to sum up the thread Cargo version (Farnair / HA-LAR) Empty state: ...and depending on weight the cargo area fills with boxes: ..and the full loaded: Passenger version (man2x.com / OK-UBA) Empty state: As per payload the seats filled with passengers: ...and both of them will have a clean and a dirty paint too
  16. Yes, currently on hold, but for 1-2 weeks from now. Soon, getting more free time and can continue the development.
  17. If you're attentive, you can find the ICAO on one of the shots
  18. Just had some time to work on the airfield.
  19. So, here is the move I've put all the source files to GitHub. Feel free to fork, modify or commit to this repo. If you make developent to this aircraft, please commit back to this repo, to keep shared with others. Thank you. The source is available here: https://github.com/ksgy/Antonov-An-2 Hope someone(s) can make development on this nice plane This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Unported License. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/deed.en_US
  20. Didn't forgot, just on hold, like the L-410.
  21. Hi, Have been thinking about this for weeks for now. The plan was to develop An-2 beside the L-410, or at least upgrade to XP10 following betas. But the life never is easy, have a lot of work and sadly even the L-410 can't get enogh of my attention. There are lot of things to fix, and lot of new ideas to develop, but it's too much for me at the moment. And I don't know when will be enough time to continue the development. I'll be satisfied if I can finish L-410 this year The main idea is hope the community will take care of Annushka. Somebody or a team will pick up the line and continue the development and the final product will be a great freeware aircraft. So, I almost decided about opening the An-2 source files (including blender, photoshop and c++ source files too) for public, under GPLv3 license, so the source and the plane have to remain freeware as always before. The source will be available probably on GitHub. What do you think guys?
