  1. When it's ready to be beta-tested
  2. Just another great video tutorial how to make dirt/rust/grunge more real:
  3. Update 07/06/2015 Had a very busy week, so it was a relief to work on the L-410 again. The other day I bought my first L-410 UVP-E on FSEconomy and I decided to bring it "home". Which means LHBP. The plane location was SVBC (Check out the initial flight plan) Yes, it's going to be a long-long journey...so I decided to make the development more fun: I bought the plane as a dirty, lonely, eviscerated plane with only some of the mandatory instruments working. When I saw her I almost cried. But it's mine! I don't wan't to even know what they did in this cockpit... First, I'm gonna fly to a smaller airport - this one has really-really high prices checking the engines, washing, etc. So, in the next few days I'll fly around the Caribbean islands and will see if I find a small airport with feasible prices to clean this beauty and install a proper Garmin 430 - which is only a sticker left by the previous owner. Not sure about the flying tough, the engines running only around 70% of the full power, not feeling really safe. Also, the ITT instrument sometimes just stuck at around 900°C giving me no clue what is the real ITT value... But let's hope the best. To be continued from Florida...
  4. Update 25/05/2015 Took me 3 days to figure out how the best to make and attach animations to objects. Far the most complicated instrument I've ever made.. But seems like it's done and it's working as expected. Some cosmetics needed here and there, but nothing major. Sometime I wished I never ever started this project But it's getting closer, getting into shape and really like the outcome
  5. Update 17/05/2015 This week had a chance to work on the manipulators and animations. Most of the instruments are ready, manipulators are there. Of course there is no fun without blender exporter bugs, so lots and lots of hours eaten up by fixing and figuring out WTF is going on So, the progress is there and it's still slow. But it's there
  6. The reason I did this test because never saw rays for a long-long time, just a minimal ones... I tried with different weather settings (real weather, pre-defined, drew), but none of them helped.
  7. Nope, there was no wind, and when I press the Apply button the clouds not even re-render to a different position, rays just appear then disappear. One thing I forgot to try yesterday: removed all the other plugins and switched to a default plane to make sure no other plugins are loaded. and still no luck. After a couple of seconds rays just disappearing. Attached the log.txt Is there any internal dataref where I can check the value of this setting? Or any other way to debug the current value? Thanks Log.txt
  8. Hi, I realised I'm missing the God Rays from SkyMaxx. Made a short footage how they appear and disappear after a while. Do you have any ideas what could cause this? Thanks
  9. If I understand correctly, you can read/write datarefs through the component? If that's right, that's awesome! Thank you!

  11. Let there be light
  12. Only me for the time being
  13. Yes
  14. Let's call it a day
  15. Had a bit of time to make UV mapping and texture baking for yokes:

  17. Small update: All pilot and copilot side instruments animated. Now moving on to manipulators. Took a while to figure it out how those works with the export script, but now it's pretty straightforward now Now all needles are moving, it's really fun to fly this plane
  18. Finally, a break-through!
  19. A quick update Nowadays struggling with animations. Trying to make the animations in Blender 2.6-2.7 with XPlaneBlender 3.2, but seems like I have to revert back to the old Export script. Once I have nested animations, all goes wrong. I'd like to have at least all the instruments and controls animated (preferably with manipulators) and with a simple interior texture. After these are done, I promise there will be a release
  20. Last week just finished with UV mapping of the cockpit frame. The normal blender UV-map baking took exactly 9 hours to render. With the new cycles render (50 cycle) took about 5 minutes. (Never-mind the texture holes on the first image, no Photoshop work done at this phase yet) Here are the results: Blender render: Cycles render:
