  1. I must admit that I'm a Jetliner-guy, but this little Saab is a piece of art! Excellent job guys! And GPS is very helpful flying on VATSIM/IVAO!
  2. Hope to be ready soon, mostly for you... you need a BIG BREAK!
  3. This is great, but make it as an option when you load the aircraft to select which layout you want to fly. Probably by choosing which airline (livery?) you are going to fly, get the actual layout. But not on the fly. This plane is going to be the epitome of realism, so please consider my suggestion.
  4. Deep in the night... we keep working!
  5. We are trying a few things with the mesh, to bring in more realism where it is possible. Note: This is just a preview, not finished, and X-Plane mesh does not allow to dig tunnels!
  6. What do you think about this? (This is not meant to present the full airport, just the specific feature). https://youtu.be/jViHcwuCR1Q
  7. A lot! You can't use thousands of them, but just few, placed right, should do the trick. Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk
  8. Actually you don't need to use, at all, any armatures/bones, etc. That was a must, back in blender 2.49- days! Logically, you can do everything if you use just empties. Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk
  9. Exporting animation in blender with 2.5x/2.6x/2.7x is notorious problematic. Here is a workflow that seems is working correct: Note that inclination angle (should be relative to X axis, logical)...for example 15 deg. Select the object you want to animate, and set cursor to selected. Add an empty and parent the object to the empty. No need for armatures/bones. Animate the object as is without the inclination. When finished. Rotate the empty to the inclination value and export.
  10. On a very slow pace. We are working on it couple days per week. Soon we will have some more to show Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk
  11. You just got me, almost before I press the "Post" button! And thanks for the confirmation of the...below! frankbyte, first of all thanks for purchasing Manchester Airport. We really like to hear more critique than blessing! Critique points to our weak points, so we can improve them and become better. About performance. We had no doubt from day 1 of development, that our biggest challenge will be performance. We were targeting to put out the highest quality possible, the same time keeping fps at a logical point that will not require users to reduce their settings. Aerosoft put as one of the standards, that Manchester will deliver at least the same performance with Heathrow. If we were not able to achieved that standard, Manchester will never be published. To any one who have worked with Aerosoft will know that they are very serious about their standards. Recently, EBBR for FSX (and probably EGCC too, same developer) were canceled by Aerosoft because developer did not met their standards ( http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/71084-brussels-international-preview/&do=findComment&comment=695493). We've run extensive testing with Aerosoft's beta testers and make of those changes so EGCC have (specially during night) the same at least performance with EGLL. This have been confirmed as true and Aerosoft gave the go for release. I would to have more data from you, so I can look to what might cause this phenomenon. Please post (or PM them to me): Your PC full specs.Your setup (ie. single or multiple monitors).X-Plane and OS versions.A screenshot with the rendering settings.A screenshot with the low fps you get. I'm interesting in the whole "fps box".The log.txt file, after running at those fps you mentioned.Regards
  12. Aerosoft has released update version of our Manchester Airport, which resolves the bugs found after the release. Fixes are: - Fixes a float object outside the airport. - Hovering antenna at the back of the tower - Fixed tower view. - A flying box fixed - Several flickering solved - Fixed crashes with other freeware scenery in the DSF. If you have purchased your copy from another vendor, the update will be available within the next couple days.
  13. None aircraft, just on the project on the title!
  14. PROJECT UPDATE: Hi to all! We were quite silent the previous months about our Chicago O' Hare project. The reason was, obviously, that we were pushing for the release of our Manchester Airport. Now, since that is out of the way, we are 100% involved with Chicago. Also, from the beginning of that project, we have one other member on board our team, and he was working mostly on 3D objects. We have almost already modeled a big portion of the terminal buildings, plus a few more other buildings. Still lays ahead a long road, and I will not announce any "release" date. Never! So, please do not ask for that! What I can promise are: We will push X-Plane's available technology even further. We will continue to add features in our project that are unique in X-Plane, like Manchester's hide/show static aircrafts. Advancements in Chicago will find they way back to our previous projects, Manchester and Mykonos. From now on, we will post images of our works-in-progress from inside the sim. Please be a bit patient, until we have something quite finished to show. And... one more thing! We will announce in a few weeks time, something very important for our team, but also for X-Plane, and it has to do with Chicago O' Hare Airport. I am very sorry that I cannot announce that in that moment. But... stay tuned! Regards
  15. Thanks! Currently we are developing KORD: http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/7727-icarus-dev-team-new-project-chicago-ohare-intl/
  16. IMPORTANT - QUICK FIX SITUATION: Airports (addons) in the vicinity of Manchester Airport disappear. If the "EGCC Manchester Mesh" is removed, or put in lower priority in scenery_packs.ini file X-Plane crashes. FIX: 1. DO NOT REMOVE "EGCC Manchester Mesh" folder from Custom Scenery folder!!! 2. Open scenery_packs.ini file with a text editor and move "EGCC Manchester Mesh", below other airports in the area. 3. Download the file below and put it in the "EGCC Manchester Airport" folder, overwriting the old file. We are working on the release of a patch in the next days, to fix few more issues. Thanks for your patient and we are very sorry for any inconvenience! Library.txt
  17. I think you like a lot Mykonos, right?
  18. And...it is here! The page is up, and will be available for purchase in the next hours... http://en.shop.aerosoft.com/eshop.php?action=article_detail&s_supplier_aid=13596&s_design=DEFAULT&shopfilter_category=Flight%20Simulation&s_language=english
  19. 1. No roads in WED. Probably in a future release. 2. Not something I tried...rendering setting might play a role? 3. No rotation. Add as many need it. Group them and lock them. Select 2 points and press Ctrl+E (or Cmd+E in Mac). X-Reloaded is definitely faster and yes UHD might play a role. Sure not. As a pilot I had to read a LOT of manuals. There were no way to operate an AH-64 with a manual!
