Cheers Dozer. The problem with the Camera limits has been solved by Sandy himself--he's a very patient man. I had been trying to set the limitations using the movements made with the Trakir. One turns off Trakir, adjusts position using the keybboard X-Y-& Z function keys (Which I have never used since I bought Trakir) and saves. Works like a dream. Its logical--but there again everything is logical in retrospect. Cheers....

Thanks Dozer--don't complain about being down under--I use X-Plane to keep sane here in London (Whilst pursuing my quest to speak the now defunct english lanuage over here!!) and would happily leave it in a Box to move down there. The issue with the View presets is sorted thanks--Sandy explained that--it's with the Lower Head positioning Limits I'm experiencing problems. Vid's neat mate but was a bit taken back by your accent. Fronting yourself with a name like 'Dozer' I was inclined to expect a more ' Slow Hippy drawl'

Love this Aircraft--Very well turned out inside & out--lovely but a challenge to fly with a panel sorely lacking. (Wouldn't like to be suddenly find myself in mist or cloud with those instruments!)

I'm having a problem setting the Pilots head Dozer & as you seem current with Pilot view wonder if youve had it in v10. When trying to adjust the head settings eg. X1 I move my head to the position and it sets. However when I Tick X2 & move my head to the disired postion I only get the same reading as X1. The same happens with Y & Z--it doesn't matter if I stick my head on the wing or through the cockpit in X1, Y1 or Z1 then if I move it to the opposite extremities in either of the 2 positions the reading will only be a repitition of 1--?? Consequently the head position becomes fixed as though it were tied by the neck! Shed any light??--Cheers

Nice one Dozer--found them. Everything else working real fine but every now and then I'm opening Pilot view and it's not recognizing the Data. As I reset them now I'll back them up and go from there.

Good luck! Keep us posted.

Bang On Dozer. There are six Directions of Head (6DOH) but X-Plane only represents four. Without the natural 'Roll' function is like having some unfortunate ailment (Seized Neck Vertebrae--one would need to bend from the waist to compensate) Flying single seater aircraft comfortably/properly is virtually impossible without Sandy's Plugin for until the Brain compensates the head continues in one direction whilst the Aircraft goes in another during steep banking manoeuvers.. I'm not a great Plugins freak but another Ace is 'Chase Veiw Delux'--great for screenshots as the rapid multi-directional Camera Panning/Zooming/etc. with just the mouse would make any Hollywood Film producer envious.... Cheers Mate..

Sandy Barbour has resolved this problem for me & I'll pass it on.. There is a conflict trying to enable 'Pilot View' when X-Plane is communicating with Trakir & visa versa. By making sure Trakir is not running when X-Plane is started, then starting it before opening Sandy's 'Pilot View' from 'Options-Plugins' see's it running in all it's glory. Thanks Sandy

You missed out Jmf. It completes the Trakir experience by aligning the plane and pilots head position & also allowing one to Roll ones head--left & right as in reality-- which X-Plane does not cater for. Using the control panel does take some getting used too I admit but as every plane is different and thus the pilots position is different per aircraft one can adjust individually. I runs very well in v9

Since first purchasing Trakir5 in v9 days I have used Sandy Barbours excellent 'Pilot View' addon with X-Plane. At the release of v10 there were serious conflicts & it became impossible to use the Addon & Sandy was aware of the situation and posted accordingly on his site. As the issue was supposed to be fixed at LR's end now I tried re installing it yesterday only to find the problem still apparent. Sandy has been in contact but has received no complaints apparently. Are any of you Guys using Trakir5 & Sandy's 'Pilot View' in v10 at present? Any info appreciated--Cheers

Cheers Jim. As a matter of interest how much of the 3Gb can X-Plane utilise at any one time? Ive been told theres a limitation of 1.5 Gb that the program can use & that the rest isn't used?.

Hi All, Have been using the NVidia GTX 570 1gb for over a year now and its been a really good card. However I've been seriously considering upgrading to the GTX 680 2 GB. Any of you folks using this card for X-Plane as I would really appreciate absolutely 'Any' feedback. (I really want to stay with NVidia) Cheers All & G'day

NIce one folks--over here in Blighty Credit Cards although still popular amongst certain people are being rapidly taken over by the 'Cash' (As Kaphiuas puts it) Debit Visa Cards and I for one rarely carry cash over here--everythings geared around 'Debit Visa' & I even get phone calls the instant my shopping practices--or localities suddenly change. I can get details/updates/balances from any ATM/Computer & now my mobile phone--milliseconds after a transaction---I can even pay minimal amounts to our ridiculous Parking Machines with them on the Blower. Arrangements are being made by successive Banks whereby we can arrange a withdraw by phone instantly if the Card is lost or stolen--on the spot. Best of all it's MY money not a Loan & no ridiculous interest charges. Never seen or been been offered a Cheque Book over here iin the last ten years--they are still governed by the old Racket of taking 5-8 days to process (Wilst the holding banks make a little fortune) Carenado is not the only company that has offered 'By Credit Card only' internet sales. Companies that do are no longer common and generally American Based where I believe the 'Credit Card' lifestyle is still very alive & prevelent Thanks for your advice all--Cheers Edwin

Would have thought so too Cameron. I have not tried with this particular plane but I did with a couple of the others and it was definitely a show of Credit cards only and they were listed. I actually tried to contact them about it but got no response--Anyway---We got there---Cheers all

Thanks All--Appreciated, Personally I don't use nor need credit cards--just do not need credit. Prefer Visa debit--direct with my own Bank & more people are accepting that now. Paypal I love but of course I'm never at the being charged end. Just checked out Aerosoft and they've got it in--keep forgetting I have an account with them. Thanks for the prompt reply Folks---just got to have every plane Carenado turn out & that one should be in my hanger in a few minutes from now and cheaper--Cheers All.

Anyone know of any place to buy the new Baron but definitely not 'X-Plane Org.' I've been using simMarket but I've just realised they're well over the top price wise (& Carenado themselves only accept Credit Cards???) Any options will be appreciated--Cheers

Have not flown this one for quite some time as I was having issues flying it with the high settings & resolutions I like. (Texture resolution very high-Shadows Global High) However opening it today after considerable updates having past saw me flying with my bumped up resolutions, all the GPS/FMC operational and banging out 52-61fps. (The Guys at LR must have improved something well and truly--as I was getting 22-29fps with texture resolution turned down to low and Shadows on 3D on aircraft) Congrats LR --it must be your end as nothing has changed with my machine--just had a great flight. Cheers

Well it's sort of help-- Is there a visible brake or brake warning light in the cockpit of the Stinson--just cannot find one--can never tell if brake is on or off until the Prop mashes up the Tarmac.?? Cheers

Maybe not flying but funny anyway---enjoy An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman were having a drink in a pub. As good as this bar is," said the Scotsman, "I still prefer the pubs back home. In Glasgow, there's a wee place called McTavish's. The landlord goes out of his way for the locals. When you buy four drinks, he'll buy the fifth drink." "Well, Angus," said the Englishman, "At my local in London, the Red Lion, the barman will buy you your third drink after you buy the first two." "Ahhh, that's nothin'," said the Irishman, "back home in Cork at my favourite pub, the moment you set foot in the place, they'll buy you a drink, then another, all the drinks you like. Then, when you've had enough drinks, they'll take you upstairs and see that you get laid, all on the house!" The Englishman and Scotsman were suspicious of these claims. The Irishman swore every word was true, but they asked, "Did this actually happen to you?" "Not myself, personally, no," admitted the Irishman, "but it did happen to my sister quite a few times "

'Eastbourne usually has an airshow around this time. ' Turned out to be just up the road in Bournemouth Nicola--strewth I would have taken the short drive had I known!! They had a fair collection including the newly renovated Vulcan who's distinctive Engines I only heard in the clouds--last saw that flying just over my head and was taken for a tour inside afterwards as a kid some 50 years ago--impressive creature. Cheers
