Disregard the previous message. I found a driver that is current for my card and it works with Windows7 And the really GOOD NEWS is that my TBM 900 works like a charm now. Imagine Microsoft telling me my drivers were the latest and most current when in fact, they were 2 years old.. Again..Thankyou for all your help.. I'd be still downloading and swearing for all hours had it not for your support. Chris

Well Thankyou for your assistance in mentioning that I upgrade my Graphics Driver I currently use a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 which has been using the 320.49 drivers. I do believe it only has 3GB of memory I went to download the latest driver group for my GTX 780 but unfortunately it needs the windows 10 OS and I currently run Windows 7. Now my question is... Do I upgrade to Windows 10 or do I buy a more expensive Card like the GTX 1080, that has more memory >4GB. Perhaps the GTX 1080 won't run under windows 7 anyway and I would have to upgrade to windows 10 as well. I hate spending $800 + on a card and 200 on an OS just to use this one plane.. Quite a dilema.

Goran_M Good Morning Well, I reloaded the TMB 900 (again)... This time with all my virus checkers diabled and unfortunately, it gave me the same scenario. ie tow bar attached and unusable switches. I did however find another clue as to perhaps why this is happening. I thought I would try disabling all the plugins and see if one was misbehaving. When I went to Enable/Disable Plugins tab it showed me a list of 5 plugins. ie Gizmo64 OpenGPWS by Saso Kiselkov OpenWXR by Saso Kiselkov X-TCAS (C41B87B) AND lastly TBM900 by Hot Start The interesting thing is that The TBM900 plugin was NOT enabled! I tried to enable it but it would not accept my choice as it was greyed out. I looked in the plugin file folder and couldn't find this Plugin. I would expect that that would be part of the download.. let me know if I can download this plugin from somewhere or maybe I'm off on some wild goose hunt. I really appreciate you helping me with this.. I believe this would be a super aircraft to fly If only I could get it to work. Thanks again Chris

No, I use malwarebytes and windows defender. maybe I should turn them all off and try another download.

The downloaded zip file was called TBM_900_v1.1.9 size 14,477KB when I click on it it makes a file folder called TBM 900 v1.1.9 when I click on it it makes 3 file installers only. TBM 900-linux-x64-installer.run (presumably a linux installer) TBM 900-osx-installer.dmg ( pesumably a MAC(apple OS) installer) and TBM900-windows-installer .... This is the one I use. When I click on this I get the message to Extract all I press Extract all files will be extracted to this folder C:\Users\Chris\Downloads\TBM_900_v1.1.9 I click on this extracted file folder and it shows the three unzipped installers only.. no aircraft files. I then click on the third installer.. ie TBM900-windows-installer It then gives me a window that says Very important! Please select your main X-Plane folder for installation. Do NOT select an aircraft folder .... Then it asks me for my X-aviation E-Mail and Password I add this and it asks me which folder to install into I select C:\X-Plane11 and press OK it then says.. Setup is now ready to begin installing Hotstart TBM 900 on your computer I press Next It then tells me that.. "We first need to uninstall your current version of the TBM 900. Pleas select Yes to uninstall when the popup appears. I press OK it then asks me if I want to uninstall Hotstart TBM 900 and all of it's modules. I choose OK It then Uninstalls the older version. and says Un installation completed I Press OK It then downloads the latest core files then proceeds to add the required files size 770404 KB I wait approx 20min..live in the country slow internet speeds. and when finished I run xplane 11 and get the problems with no clickable switches and a tow bar attached. Sorry for the long detail... I just thought I was doing something stupid and wanted to go though all the steps to see if I was missing something. Chris

Thanks for the response. as far as activation I downloaded the zip file, extracted it. Placed it into my c;/XPLANE folder typed in my email address and password for x-aviation was verified by them. what else do i do?

Having problems with the new release of TBM 900, I reloaded both my xplane 11 (thought I had a beta version).. I didn't Reloaded TBM many times thought I had corrupted files. It Loads but I notice that on the plugins the TMB900 is disabled and I can use the mouse to recheck it on. Anyway, the plane loads but none of the switched work and I have a permanent tow bar attached which can't be removed by the side menu as it is missing as well. Tried the window version still no luck.. reverted back to default monitor and still no luck.. Am I missing something? I'm new at this..but have flown real planes for many years.. this is getting tiring. Thanks Log.txt
