Hi Group, I recently picked up the Dream foil R22 Beta II and the Bell 206 and I've been occasionally getting a hard hang in the Xplane Demo 10.02b2 where the screen freezes and the sound goes into an infinite loop. I have to kill the xplane process with the task manager and restart the program. I've also noticed that after the update to 10.02b2 the Dreamfoil Bell 206 has some major graphic corruption with the 3d cockpit. Most of it doesn't show on the screen. I've read Ben's latest message to the aircraft authors on the developer blog so I'm aware that there are some bugs to squash. I'm wondering if any of you have had this issue with these helicopters and if you have reported them? After a hard hang in Xplane will the log capture the needed info to report the bug? The hard hang is an intermittent problem and I cannot reproduce it on command. Craig PS, If any of you have not tried the Dreamfoil R22 you really need to. It is a joy to fly!!!

Hi Group, I just downloaded the latest Beta Demo 10.02b2 and after running the fps tests from the command line the demo seems to have given me more time to fly. 15-20 minutes Have any of you noticed this? Craig Disregard..... .It's still 10 minutes I lost track of time flying the demo.....

Yes this is so true. I've been browsing the forums at avsim for over 10yrs and it's always been a pretty hostile place for Xplaners.... even in the Xplane forum. They even went as far as to pin a message about XPlane bashing and antagonistic posting against Xplane in the Xplane forum but the current group of moderators aren't interested in cleaning the mess up. I thought I would throw myself on the sword by stooping to their level and I got banned.... of course with the beauty of the current batch of Ip hidding utilities it wasn't hard to log back in as a new user. I think it's a hopeless case over there. It's gonna be hilarious if Flight bombs....but you know.... Xplaners just aren't the type to rub it in. I've noticed that it's getting a little better now since I forced the closure of the "Xplane Demo thread" ;-) I think once Xplane 10 is tuned and the third party avalanch really takes off you'll see a different forum over there. Avsim has always been a one sided organization. Remember Terminal Realities "Flight" They took a beating over there too..... the only thing that soften the tone toward Flight was the unfortunate passing of it's creator.. Richard Harvey. Fatherjack, I'm curious to why you are so hellbent on putting so much time and effort into disproving the flight model characteristics of a freeware aircraft for a computer flight simulator/game? If you don't like it why did you download it? Why don't you try building your own flight model for the plane if the existing one is a source of such misery for you? I think the X- Plane community would welcome your efforts. Come on in and join the team for the Big Win! Craig
