...... and very, very, very I'm still asking for the command to connect/disconnect the GPU (without going through the menu window system) PS. this request obviously does not apply to VR
-
Of course ;-) , I tried to use the B733_vrconfig.txt file from XP11, but it didn't work properly -> the knobs on the overhead panel didn't work at all. (possibly because it wasn't the original 733_vrconfig.txt file from XP11, but modified by me - although I don't think that's what's causing many of the knobs not working in XP12)
-
A few comments/requests regarding VR mode: - why is there no B733_vrconfig.txt file??? - very imprecise use of rotary knobs with VR controllers (someone has already written about this) - can't you integrate the aircraft service menu as an element of AviTab? - a huge request to add a command (dataref) so that you can activate/deactivate the GPU connection using the assigned button. I already asked for this in the XP11 model, because when using VR, going through several menu windows is very inconvenient and kills immersion. - why some knobs (I keep writing about using VR controllers) are operated by turning the controllers, and some by sideways (linear) movements. In the XP11 version, the VR mode was very good (99%), all rotary knobs required hand rotation (intuitive behavior), and the sensitivity could be individually adjusted in the B733_vrconfig.txt file I hope that the aspect of using VR controllers in this wonderful aircraft will improve quickly and significantly, because currently it is more of a struggle than a pleasure (using VR controllers). It was really good in IXEG733 in XP11 and I don't know why this aspect broke in XP12.

Oh ;-) Sorry for my impatience, but IXEG737 is my favorite plane and I always wait for updates ;-) I have already received an email with the code, and the plane is already being installed. Thank you very, very, very much for your help. -

You are not alone. Send information to X-Aviation support. I did that, but I don't know when I will get any help. -

IXEG 737 Classic Plus - Releasing Friday, September 15th!

.. everyone is probably waiting for @Litjan return, because opening the doors in the cabin is now so realistic that only a real pilot can open them That's why the premiere is probably delayed -

IXEG 737 Classic Plus - Releasing Friday, September 15th!
Bulva replied to Cameron's topic in General Discussion
As I wrote earlier, I will buy the update for this really small amount of money on the first day, treating it as an expression of my great gratitude for the effort and the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful plane in XP12. Even though I still only use XP11 and it will probably be a long time before I switch to XP12. This symbolic fee is a thank you for the work of the Creators and an encouragement for their further updates. ;-) -
IXEG 737 Classic Plus - Releasing Friday, September 15th!
Bulva replied to Cameron's topic in General Discussion
Of course, this is very good news. And of course, this will be a must-buy upgrade for me to this wonderful model. But there's one question that's bothering me. After purchasing and updating the XP12 version, will I still be able to use the old IXEG737 version with XP11??? I only fly in VR, and XP12 is unfortunately still a less pleasant experience for me than using XP11 (at least until I invest in the development of my computer). -
Really beautiful, but I'm afraid of FPS in the new version. I loved the 733 in v. XP11 for its excellent performance (FPS) and smooth simulation ;-)
-
Maybe I'm worrying in advance, but will the new version of IXEG 733 for XP12 have a smooth animation of the reverse lever when using the command "Hold thrust reverse at max #1 and #2" ??? Currently, using this command in controllers (e.g. Honeycomb Bravo) in IXEG 733 in XP11 there is no animation, i.e. the reverse levers jump immediately to the max position, which looks very unattractive. For example, in Zibo it is already done that the reverse levers, after using the "Hold thrust reverse at max #1" or "#2" command, move smoothly.

What a cool retractable landing gear sound (4:03) - could you ask for one ??? P.S. ... à propos sounds. The sound of opening / closing the cabinet with the key is still missing

So I was able to improve the sensitivity of the rotary potentiometers of all cockpit lighting elements using the VR controller. I also reduced the sensitivity of the ALT SET knob For those interested, the changes I made to the file: "Cockpit_3D_GNS.OBJ" (...:\X-Plane 12\Aircraft\X-Aviation\Mitsubishi MU-2 Marquise v2\objects\Cockpit_3D\...) (I don't know if I'm allowed to post the corrected .obj file here, so I'm just providing a screenshot showing the changes) REMEMBER to make a copy of the original before any changes !!! ;-) For other MU-2 variants, make analogous changes to the files: "Cockpit_3D_GLASS.OBJ" and "Cockpit_3D_OEM.OBJ". To improve the sensitivity of these knobs: "ram_air_knob", "ac_mode_knob" and "heater_current_knob" ... make entries in the "xsMU2B60_4B_GNS_vrconfig.txt" file: (or for other MU-2 models in the files: "xsMU2B60_4B_OEM_vrconfig.txt" and "xsMU2B60_4B_GLASS_vrconfig"). Attachment with my "xsMU2B60_4B_GNS_vrconfig.txt" file with several HOTSPOTS: xsMU2B60_4B_GNS_vrconfig.txt

The only glitch I've found and can't fix is the Aileron Trim knob - it's completely dead when using a VR controller (with a mouse in VR mode it's OK):
-
In general, the plane behaves impeccably in VR, apart from the use of rotary potentiometers (cockpit lights, load selector, etc) which are very sensitive when using VR controllers. So, after finishing IXEG 733 (which I am also very much looking forward to), can this aspect be improved in MU2 ???
-
Oh, I'm stupid. In fact, in the version for XP12, these commands already exist. They are missing in XP11. Super and thank you.
